The quickest way to effect changes at USPSA is to cut off the money being sent in. If a vast majority of affiliated clubs(+75%) stop sending the money, all uspsa can do is disaffiliate the clubs. Eventually they will realize that they are going to run out of money to operate. This will hurt everyone but, sometimes a little pain is needed. It just might take burning down the whole organization and rebuild from scratch without making the same mistakes over again. Is this what I want no but, it might be what it takes if uspsa doesn't step up and make the corrections/changes.

The number people should be talking about is the number of people who actually took the survey. If the bod uses any of these numbers to change things would be totally irresponsible.

They were rather busy little scammers, I received a UPS billing invoice for over $149,000.00. The average price for these shipments was $60.00, that would have them create over 2,500 fraudulent money orders. I have received over 15 "Return to sender" envelopes which has contained over $105,000.00 in fraudulent money orders. Finally UPS is showing some interest in the case.
If you receive an unexpected envelope with a money order in it return it to sender. Do Not try to cash it, you will be responsible for that amount.

Scammers again, this time they are using my UPS account to send out fraudulent Money Orders. I've received 6 "return to sender" envelopes with over $43,0000.00 in money orders. Closed my account because I'm being billed for these shipments(Next Day AM) that has totaled over a $1,000.00 in charges to the account. UPS doesn't seem to be concerned over this activity.

You have to make them from welding up two mags together, the problem with them is spring life. At the time I tried every spring I could find and none of them would last and always failed during a match. It will hold 14 rounds (40) and 13 rounds(45).

I've been trying to sell an item online for a while over on GB, well last week an individual offers to pay the buy now price and says they will line up a shipper to come get it after the bank draft clears but I will have to pay the shipper with the extra funds included in the bank draft amount. The bank draft arrives but the amount is $3,500 more than the selling price, this is way too much for shipping the item. I go to the bank and see if this check is any good and it is fraudulent. The account is real but the name on the account doesn't match. After I e-mailed the buyer the check arrived, I received an e-mail to send them a copy of my deposit receipt. This whole deal from the start had me doubting it was real. Wanting to buy it at the buy now when the starting bid was $700 lower, only wanted to communicate by text only (I don't text), in hurry to get the deal done, wanting me to pay the shipper, sending way too much for shipping, wanting a copy of the deposit receipt. I searched the web for the company name on the check and there was a web site but none of the items listed for sale had any prices, I didn't call to see who answered or if the phone number was valid.
Like the old saying "If it's too good to be true it isn't".
Buyers and sellers always be aware for scammers these days.

I've done it several times over the years, some slides require more to be removed than others. I've done it with files, scrapers, and extra-long end mills. Another factor is the hardness of the slide, an extra hard slide requires the end mill method. Don't forget about the extractor side of the breech face will require some adjustment.

Wilson quit making that 5 ounce rod, I think Ross Carter started making them again but also stopped due to lack of demand. Springs were available for them by wolff I believe. I've got a couple and bought a bunch of springs along time ago. The problem with making this rod is the cost of the tungsten, you have to start with a rod with a diameter of the head and turn it down to a 3/8" shaft. A steel head can be made and threaded onto a 3/8" rod to cut the cost down on the tundsten. The original rod was advertised as a 5 ounce rod but the ones I have weigh less (4.5 oz).

With my Open and Limited guns I ran 2 seasons with just cleaning the gun a week before the Nationals and didn't clen until the next Nationals. I was using jacketed bullets, Vit powder, and Slide-Glide. I occasionally added some Slide- Glide if it looked like it needed more. It would get really black but kept on working, no malfunction. At this time I was shooting 35 to 40K rounds in each gun per year. Cleaning is over rated, don't think it is possible give it a try and see how far you can go.

Find a good tig welder, done correctly it will last.

I have six working machines, I was lucky two of the machines came with alot of spare parts. What parts I don't have I make, the parts aren't that complex to make.

Peening will loosen up in time, I would suggest that the rails be tig welded and fit your slide. If done correctly you can get all 10 bearing surfaces.

The front strap can be reduced by heavy checkering. Be careful and don't go too far down on the front strap you start to get into the flare for the magwell. I was usually able to remove 0.020 off the sides without reducing structural integrity. You can do a wrap around checkering on the back strap area to reduce size.

You could try to squeeze the sides of the base of the tube in a vise. This might elongate the front to back of the tube to release it.
An extra long screw into the follower will give you the ability to pull the follower up.

Always been kind of partial to mag wells that are a funnel and not a flat garbage can lid.

Eventually the rubber plunger will start to break down, they start to enlarge and get really soft. Years ago brownells sold an assortment of syringes that held up fairly well, maybe a year to 2 years before the rubber was unusable. I don't know if they still offer them or if they have the same supplier. I started using the small ones and kept moving up in size, the largest one would hold a whole tub of slide glide.

9mm dies will work just fine, you will get a slight coke bottle effect. I use 9mm dies to load 9x23 cases without problems. The wear doesn't look to be anything to worry about.
