Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. You seat for whatever works best in your gun. Just keep it below mag length or you will be single feeding.
  2. Hello All, Just got a delivery of FC Crimped brass that I ordered. Its all Federal, but with different headstamps. Can anyone tell me the difference in the markings? I know the numbers mean the year of production, but what would be the difference between FC 223 Rem & FC 08? Are there any years better than others? It seems that I have from 05 - 08
  3. Thanks, That is what I needed to know. So I guess I will be going with the 40S&W sizer/decapper & Lee 3 pc steel 357 sig set up.
  4. Looking to get the Dillon carbide 357 sig die set. The only problem is that I use a Lee Classic Turret press. Can I use the dies & still use my Pro Auto disk powder measure (thru the die)? The 4th station would be for a Lee FCD. What else would be needed from Dillon? Anyone provide a parts list & photos perhaps?
  5. Thanks. What do you guys think may be wrong with using 231? What do you load at with TiteGroup? I have that on hand as well as Hodgon CLAYS. Any suggestions for those 2?
  6. Need some load help for Win 231 with MG 121 IFP for 9mm in a Glock. Havent had too much accuracy so far with these. Heard they are supposed to be a top performer. I have tried 231 at 4.2 grs with OALs of 1.085, 1.120 & 1.135. Any OAL suggestions?
  7. Recently ordered 200 rounds of 121 gr HAP 9mm to try out. Cant find any specific load data for these bullets..including Hornady's manual. Is it safe to use XTP data? Using 231 with CCI primers, Magtech new brass in a Glock 19 if it helps.
  8. Hi Guys, Been reading my 3 manuals for close to 2 weeks now. Speer, Lyman & Lee. All have different data. Going to do my first rounds tomorrow night. Right now I will be using Winchester 115 gr FMJ's, Win 231, once fired Winchester & Remington brass & CCI primers with a Lee Auto Disk. Going to load for my Glock 19. Is it safe to use the Factory loaded OALS, seat lenght & crimp size from my WWB & Rem UMC rounds? I like the OAL from the WWB because I did have some FTF problems with the Remington's. I have noticed the manuals I have are not that diversified. Any manual more thorough than the next? I want to try Montana Gold FMJ's & CMJ's with Magtech brass in the near future. But havent found any data on Montana Gold at all. Shouldnt loads be "more bullet specific"? For future reference, shouldnt a load for a CMJ/TMJ be different for a FMJ? Not listed in my manuals.
