  1. I sent him a PM some time ago about revolver shooting and it says it hasn't even been opened. Maybe he's in his basement dry firing a SW627 and becoming a creature of the wheel.

Perhaps he found love and moved to Georgia, no wait, that was someone else....or maybe...

  2. USPS complaint number 1-800-275-8677

I've had plenty of delivery issues wth these clowns. So much so, I had the multi-state district manager on the line with the local post master and his supervisor for a conference call. I told them about all the issues, how many times we've delivered each other's mail here in my neighborhood, the drunken mail lady, the mailboxes she destroyed with the mail truck mirrors, etc.

After the conversation was over, they thought I dropped off the call by hanging up...then they proceeded to talk about me and claim that I just wanted attention from my neighbors (because I gave them the 1-800 number as well). Imagine their surprise when I asked if running down their customers after speaking with them was "company policy." These people think they can provide continue to give poor service and that they can make rules up as they go if it serves their purpose. No wonder they're the butt of jokes and losing money. Any other business this poor would be out of business 100 years ago. Sorry if you read this and you work for the USPS, I'm sure there are good folks that work there too but when the USPS finally goes belly up, I'll be dancinging the street. Good luck...

  3. Anyone else experiencing squib loads, gas blow by, or bullet push back issues with cases that don't have a lower anneal lines? I cut down some REM-UMC brass and cut off the lines at the original case mouth. Most had more lines midway on the case, which became the new case mouth, but I found a number with no line or faint lines and experienced predictable squibs once I sorted the loaded rounds to account for this difference in brass.

  4. This came up at Nationals in Barry a number of years ago when Nils Jonasson used a belt pouch (everybody called it his "murse") to hold moonclips that were grabbed out of a shooting bag at the start position.

I was there when that happened! I think I might even have video some place of Jerry doing his "murse" dance...I remember he was trying one on and hopping all over the place to see if the pouch fell off or the ammo fell out. Wow, I'd forgotten all about the magic JM "Murse dance." I gotta dig out my old 8mm tapes...

  5. Thanks! I did not realize I made it. I am really going to have to practice now to catch GRAND MASTER HOP!

BTW, Congratulations to MASTER Pat Scott!

When did this forum get a facelift...

    HOLY SMOKES!!!!

You take a little time off and the website gets a makeover and all your buddies become GM's and Master Class Shooters. Geesh!

Congratulations guys. I'm knocking off the dust and may drop by Rayner's or PC a time or two this year. Try not to laugh!

  6. :( GEEEZ! :sight:

Take a season off from shooting and your buddies go nuts and win all the matches! I might have to go back to fishing just to save from getting totally waxed at the local matches nowadays.

Hop, do you have an extra Limited gun I can borrow? I don't think I can hang with these guys in REVO anymore

Congratulations Pat on your Area 5 win. You definitely earned it! If you move up to A class I'll NEVER beat you again. :P

  7. Well..yeah. For all the good it did me.

Must be something wrong with Chad's revolver too. I can't hardly run a plate rack with it.

Hmmm...I am starting to see a pattern. Something must be wrong with all these guns!!! :o:lol::D

I can assure you the only thing wrong with Chad's revolver is that it goes too fast and hits exactly what it is pointed at! (usually A's)

No idea on the number of classifiers required to get our own HF's...but keeping adding to the pile of classifiers, you never know.

  8. Also, many new names getting up there in the lists of the top 20 :)

Yeah...all these new guys knocked me off the top-20 list in Revolver.

    It's just not right. :surprise:

Bring some .45 ammo to classifier match at Greenport in May and you can jump right back to the top! I'll let you borrow one of mine (with the barrel screwed all the way in this time!)

  9. I'll email those to you.

Who doesn't have those directions?

Micah and the guys did a kickass job today. There were a bunch of folks at the match today and it could have been a disaster indoors - but it went smoothly and we even had a few reshoots afterwards. Great job! Thank Lefty45 for the heaters...Fran, he was the one standing next to you and I talking about shooting birds today (when he should have been shooting with us!)

Btw, congrats to you FranDoc, there's a definite confidence to your shooting that I didn't notice last spring! Also, I don't know if he's on here or not but young Mr. Adrian S. was a real treat to watch. He was probably the most concentrated and accurate shooter I saw all day. He's a young guy and probably weighed less than 80 lbs soaking wet but that Glock didn't shake a bit when he was shooting. It was inspiring - Keep up the great work!

Thanks for getting the scores out in just under three hours Krispy Keen! I'd like another crack at you in SS.... Maybe next time...

  10. ....just promise me you won't sit in anymore gum - ya sick freak! :goof:

    LMAO!!!!!

I'd love to have ya come out and play! Bring the wheel gun, and I'll try and get a loner SS for ya.

I've got my own SS stuff so we're good. ;) Do they allow lead bullets inside or do you have to use jacketed? I have both but I'm trying to get rid of some older auto loads with lead cast bullets. Also, I'm assuming you have .45 ammo for the revo? I've got a pile of moon clips for you as well. It won't take long to load your ammo up during the wait to shoot.

  11. (And btw-if you have a revolver that you'd let me borrow, I'm DYING to fill in my last two U's with A's!!)

I might be able to help you out with that if you don't mind shooting a Randy Lee tailored 4" model 625 B) ...my 5" and 6" are being transformed to match the 4" over the winter and are currently out of commission  . A little more snap with major loads but nothing you can't handle if you don't get crazy on the trigger....and I know that won't happen  I'll even do you one better than I did Flex, I'll make sure the barrel isn't unscrewing before you use it. The sights will be nice and straight.

I'll put it in the range bag and try to make it out. I would like to get my SS classification since Lefty45 doesn't shoot revolver anymore. :P

....just promise me you won't sit in anymore gum - ya sick freak! :goof:

  12. Welcome to the forum Sandi!

You should have 41Mag do more of the chores so you can practice! :P

Btw, he said he doesn't get enough starch, sugar, and carbs in general at home so please do ushim a favor and help slow him down during the winter. :goof: Extra helpings of mashed potatoes for 41Mag can drastically decrease your times ;)when I'm holding the timer.

Thanks for the education on your new blaster's safety features during the Rayner's match last month - pretty cool. See you in the spring!
