  2. Hey Guys,

Got another great match for you here at Rockcastle. Six stages, 163 rounds, classifier 09-04 Pucker Factor.

Registration is between 9am to 10 am at the lodge . Remember we are on central time. We will be squading at registration to try to get rid of the confusion down at the bays. We will have squad lists for you to sign up on, so you can still squad with your buddies. And we will still be using the nooks for scoring.

Remember Rockcastle has both breakfast before the match and lunch for after the match at the restaurant.

So come and enjoy the shooting and great weather.

  3. Hey guys, I need some help. Got nooks rooted this weekend. Going to try it on a couple squads at the Rockcastle match this coming weekend. I am not a computer tech person at all, so this may be a stupid question. How do I get the master database into the nooks for registration on the fly if some one is late? I am using my ipad as the master and have the master registration downloaded to it.

Thanks for you help. I am the one that buys all those books for dummies to learn.

  4. Hey Guys,

Just a reminder that Rockcastle will be having a great match this weekend. We will NOT be having a match in August due to the Pan Am 3 gun match.

Registration is between 9am to 10 am at the lodge . Remember we are on central time. Shooting starts shorting after registration closes and after the shootings meeting which we will be having this time.

The lodge has a great breakfast and lunch. So don't forget to support Rockcastle for giving us a place to shoot and have fun.

    Hope to see you there,

    Sue

  5. Don't forget the Rockcastle Match this month on July 27th. Got some great stages. 164 rounds with Classifier "Front Sight" on stage 5 in doe valley.

I want to apologize to the shooters from the last match for the major squad flow problem. I will try my best not to that happen again. Once was enough. We really appreciate your support at Rockcastle, so come out and have some fun.

    See you at the range,

    Sue

  6. Hey Guys,

Got another great match at Rockcastle this month. 163 rounds with classifier 99-41 Works for Me. For those of you who missed last month's match, now have two stages in Doe Valley. One that is a mini woods walk. We have gotten rid of two stages on one bay up top to get rid of the back up. Anticipating great weather.

Signup begins at 9:00 am Central Time at the Lodge in the front room. Registration is $20. The match will start at 10:00 am Central Time; shooter's meeting and squadding will take place at the bays up top.

And remember Rockcastle has a great restaurant at the Lodge for breakfast before the match and lunch after the match.

Come out and have a great time.

    Sue

  7. Hey Guys,

We have a great match for you In May.It will be a good tune up for the state and area matches. 166 rounds, classifier 06-06. Six stages. We have found a way to put a second stage in Doe Valley, stage 6 where is normally is and stage 5 to the right of the end of the entrance road. It will make for better flow and not two stages in one bay.

Signup begins at 9:00 am CT at the Lodge in the front room. Registration is $20. The match will start at 10:00 am CT; shooter's meeting and squadding will take place at the bays up top.

Hope to see you at the range,

    Sue

  8. Will try to keep the squads more even. You are right a six man and fourteen man squad should not happen.

Stages finished and ready to go. Looks likes we are going to get some rain. We have easy ups to put up to help keep us dry when we are not shooting and the Rockcastle staff has been putting down mulch today in shooting areas and various other area to get us good footing. I don't know many USPSA shooters that haven't shot is the rain and we still have fun. Plus we have a great place to get warm and dry after the match at the hotel restaurant.

Hope to see you at the range,

    Sue :)

  9. Hey guys,

Looks like a great winter day to shoot tomorrow sunny and high of 45. Forecast says winds will be calming down to about 6mph, which will be a great improvement. The high winds played havoc with all the hard work the Rockcastle did on the stages. With the help of Nick and Nate Noble and Gary Madison , we got the walls back up and stages finalized. They may look a little different from diagrams, but were trying to avoid problems if the high winds continued. The shooting areas on some parts of stages may be a little muddy but not bad. The areas outside the shooting area have some standing water and are muddy, so bring appropriate boots. We will need everyone to help pasting targets. Come on out and have some fun. See you on the range. Sue
