Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Update - Tue 27rd, 8:30 am: Bad news - I am 2% (146 votes) down!! As expected Sancktime (the pizza) made a big push yesterday toward the end of voting. Today and tomorrow are the last days to vote and I will have to get more than 200 votes to win this! This is when I need you guys the most! I need everyone who can to help vote and send as many people to vote as you can. Based on the past few days I know we can pull this into first but I NEED your help. I have over twice as many views as votes so those that haven't - please take the literal 2 second to vote to take this thing strongly into the lead!! You can vote here: Vote for a Victory!
  2. Update - Sun 25rd, 8:00 am: Snacktime (the pizza is still in the lead. But barely. We are both tied at 16% (thats around 1050 votes!!) although he is still the official first place with at least one or more votes than me. With the voting ending Wednesday it is definitely the home stretch now. Please vote if you haven't yet and make sure to tell others you know to do the same because I need to make sure I gain the lead going into Wednesday so we can make a final big push on the last day of voting (like I would assume everyone else will too). Thank you so much to all 1000 of you who voted so far that is just freaking amazing. Keep it up!!
  3. I voted for you as well and agree that the slice of pizza is a travesty. ETC: bad typing. I totally agree! I dont exactly know who is voting for that - but it is ridiculous! I am now tied for first at 16% and only slightly behind the official first place "pizza". Only a little bit more to take the lead!
  4. Thank you for your voice of reason. I am at 18% solely because of votes from the members at XDtalk.com (see here) and arfcom [ar15.com] (see here). I appreciate you at least looking at the subject before casting a judgment.
  5. Youre exactly right. I registered today because today was the first day I needed your help. I am a real shooter. I really do have Brian Enos's book which is how I know about this website. As for the info I dont even have that profile info on my XDtalk.com website with which I have been a member for almost 5 years (go look - same username). I have spent a fair amount of time here but all my questions have already been asked and I know how to use a search function. I understand the apprehension, but I did included some of my proof that Im not just trolling forums but actually asking for help from forums which I know and from people who have identical interests as I do. Am i really to understand that you would refuse to answer my questions about precision shooting as well because I only have 2 posts? Im asking for no more than that. Its a stupid internet contest in which you vote by clicking a picture. No email addresses, no registering and its at GARMIN. I know you have heard of them. Come on guys - Im not a newbie to gun forums (not even this one) and there is no need to flame me in your elitism. If you dont want to help you dont have to - that why it is a request. I honestly expected that fellow firearms enthusiasts would support a brother more...
  6. For the last four weeks Garmin has been conducting a contest where individuals can draw a vehicle and enter it for a chance to have their vehicle idea made into a Garmin Garage Vehicle for the Nüvi series and other Garmin GPS devices. I made it into the the top five finalist during week two but now I need your help to vote for me, help me beat the commercial artist, and allow my entry to be the first airplane (and a classic warbird at that!) ever to become a Garmin Garage Vehicle! After the contest is over you can then download this vehicle (along with alot of others) for free and put it on you Garmin GPS. Help the Mustang win!! I am in the third line from the top (”Wingman” by Drew P. of Orlando, FL). It is one vote per computer so if you have two or more computers you can vote with each one. Click this link to vote: Garmin | Garage For copy and paste: www8.garmin.com/vehicles/mechanic/vote.html You can also go to my website ParrishCo.com for more information on what this all is. I know I am a new member, but after getting Practical Shooting I have been a regular reader here for tip and tricks, so to prove that I actually am a fellow gun enthusiast I am including a picture and list of some of my toys... Here is a full list: 1.Yugo SKS M59/66 with custom refinished original stock - all parts matching 2. Custom .40 Springfield XD SubCompact - trigger job -Insight X2L Laser -Hard Crome custom finish by Springfield - XS BigDot 24/7 tritium night sighs - CCW (in pic) 3. Mossberg 500 Persuader Pump 12 gauge with XS BigDot tritium night sight 4. Springfield M1911A1 GI .45 - 5inch 5. And the best for last: Built AR-15 A3 - M4 style - Superior Arms Lower - VLTOR Collapsable Modstock - Bushmaster 16 inch upper - ARMS folding rear sight - EOTech 512/A65 - Surefire M73 Quad Rail - GG&G Vertical Grip - Miculek AR Steel Charging Handle - Tango Down BG/16 Battle Grip - Blackhawk three point sling with front sight post adapter with rail -Harris Bipod - Magpull Tabs - and probably more that i forgot... So i think that qualifies my request for you guys' help...
