  1. I have several questions on the differences between a 5" and 6" STI or SVI based gun.

Does any one have any experience with both?

I am looking into one more for help with distances over 25 yards?

Has it helped your distance accuraccy in USPSA?

Has it hurt the times in close run and gun stages?

I am an average - to slightly above average shooter and looking for something to help with distance shots.

Currently shooting 5" STI edge just wondering if the extra inch is worth buying a new gun?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    John

  3. Well, another one is in the books. Considering a slight rain delay Saturday, we still finished by 5 O'Clock. Not bad, I think. I wanted to thank everyone who attended our match this weekend. We appreciate your support of our match. Our staff and members of our club (Mid-Carolina Rifle Club) work hard to make the match an enjoyable experience for everyone who attends. I am fortunate that our club and its board members are so supportive of USPSA. I would like to thank the Palmetto Gun Club crew and Stan Johnson's crew for their continued support of the match.

I also realized that I forgot to mention and thank Maineshooter (Jason) at the banquet for helping set-up on Thursday (please forgive my oversight - I was a little brain-dead by that point). To all of our RO's - thanks so much for your work. We could not do it with out your help. It was nice to see so many BE'rs at the match.

Kent, thanks for the vids. Great work and I enjoyed shooting with you.

I would like to thank Todd Jarret for all the tips and instruction he provided to the kids (and Dad's) as we shot. What an experience for the juniors (John Suber, Francisco Colon - aka Scrat; and Nelson Colon Jr). That was awesome! It was nice to meet Rebeca, too.

Ms. Kitty - Its all about the Vibra-prime..... :surprise::devil::goof:

I'll post some pix later this evening or tomorrow night. Feel free to email or PM me comments or ideas. I am always looking for ways to improve the match. Thanks.

Jack, Linda and Donnie - As an RO on stage 6 I would like to thank each of you for the great match fun stages and great tips I think we all picked up during the match. I am looking forward to working and shooting the match next year. It was great to hear the thank you's as we pasted, scored and ran shooters through the stage. Maybe next year you all might have to move to a 2 day shoot as word gets out about the quality of stages and staff. :surprise:
