Swapping from using the casefeeder to manual feed is as simple as removing the bin holder/cartridge chute from the strongmount (3 bolts),
remove 1 bolt from front right corner of press (enables the cam plate for case feeder to swing out of the way)
remove two small allen screws holding the case feed assembly from under the sub plate ( a bit tricky to get at but a ball end hex key makes it easier)
Install manual case feed plate (those 2 small hex screws)
Install bolt back into corner of press base (leaving cam plate swung to the rear)
and reinstall bin holder/cartridge chute
I can do this in under 10 minutes......and no realignment of subplate required
obviously going back to casefeeder is pretty much the reverse

I had this problem as well......Owned the press since before they added the b to the 550.
What I ended up doing was adding two tiny pieces of aluminum shim stock under the primer housing sides where the housing contacts the wear plate(?) to give just a little more room for the primer bar. works great and no more sticking.

I am curious to the answer from HQ, I thought I remembered them being legal.
I'm not sure how an extended slide stop is allowed for glocks, but not others.
And yea, bad idea. Had one on about 5 years ago, shot one match with it and took it off.
I have actually thought about putting it back on to force me to stay further away from the slide
Regarding the Glock.
They are standard on the 34/35, therefore they are an option from the factory. That's why they are legal.
So that would mean that because they come stock on o NP30 norc they are legal?.......not that it matters anymore as I have upgraded guns for this season.....

I plan on using my 550 case feeder for rifle as well........using the 650 shell adapter as you said but with the 650 small rifle disc in the collator.....
