Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I got my 550 B yesterday and set it up. In all of my years of reloading this is the first time I’ve ever had the privilege of using a Dillon Press. I can say that I am impressed. I loaded about 100 rounds of 9MM setting it up and tweaking it. I’m impressed with how accurate the powder measure is. I was Using Winchester WSF and I must have weighed at least 50 charges. They were all right on the money. I need to invest in a couple more tool heads, stands and a couple more powder measures. I can understand the importance of the extra tool heads when changing calibers. I worked on adjusting dies and powder measure for a while last night till I had everything the way I wanted it.
  2. Thanks for all of the welcomes. I hope my new press makes it here tomorrow or the day after. I've got plenty of cleaned brass waiting on it.
  3. Hello folks. I’m a member of several other firearms related forums. I found this one while I was looking for a progressive reloading press. Of course I bought a press from Brian. I bought a Dillon 550 and Brian was very helpful in helping me decide what all I needed to go along with it. The only thing that I forgot was a couple more tool heads. Oh well, I’ll pick those up later. I’ll probably think of something that else I need anyway. I’ve been cruising the forum for the past several days just reading. Nice place here and lots of good info. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi from Louisiana.
