I have a few of these 126mm 40cal sti mags.most hold 14,some make 15 but the slide wont strip it,and 2 I got from midway hold the 15 rds and function. they all look the same in follower and coils, I would like to have these all 15 rnds and insertable with the slide closed. what can I do with what I have?? trim the followers? cut a coil?? thanks!! billy

For the trigger finger,can an a1 type scallop cut be performed alongside the trigger? I realize there is not nearly enough material there as a singlestack,it may break thru, more like a chamfer of some size I look for [maybe 1/32"], so I ask: how much material IS there before breakthru? thanks B

hi all, I picked up a couple of arredondo replacement followers for the sti mag. these have no "legs" to prevent tilt,altho I think theyre that way to get 1 more rd in. I cant for the life of me figure if these are supposed to be lock back or no lock back. it does have a cut there. I fitted one to sit where it should,but wont activate the slide stop. furthermore,if ya look at it funny,it`ll practically pop out the feedlips. dont know what to make of it,but before I attempt to fit the other one,figure i`d ask.. they have an angled "tab" on the one side that I assume was for fitting as it wouldnt let it rise all the way. tia, bill
