  1. I am very sorry for your lose, Eric. :(

I started crying as I read through this thread. I have been on the road for a few weeks now and it sounds like my own dog is on his way out. He was having some troubles when I left. My wife said that he cannot stand up on his own and he has pretty much stopped eating for the last week. I want to go home, but I dread what I will need to do when I arrive. Sometimes it is very hard to put our own selfish needs aside and do what is right.

  2. Do you leave the rod in, so that it buzzes until you are completely out of primers? I just take mine out when it first chirps at me. I have also cut my primer rods so that when it buzzes, I shut the case feeder down and the primers and cases run out at the same time.

Good idea: What length do you cut it to?

Maybe this can go to the Dillon forum rather than close.

I think I may have put the info into the 650 Tricks and Tips thread. I will look for it there as I am too lazy to walk out to the shop and measure the rod.

  3. Here is my latest SS adventure. I had a fairly decent match and took HOA SS and finished 7th out of everyone. I had one mike for the day. As per usual, it was on a target that was way too close to miss. I could've asked for the overlay. Just kidding, I am not one of those guys. I know that I missed it.

I am still having some trouble with my foot work. I tend to power into positions instead of easing into them.

I am really enjoying SS and the stage break down that comes with the division. This match was a lot of fun and was fun to dissect the stages.

One of the things that sticks with me is the last stage in the video. I can recall every single sight picture and see the scratches on my mag well from every reload on that run. The run wasn't incredible, but the feeling was. I am excited to string together an entire match of runs like that.
  4. I and a few of my friends shot some indoor matches this winter. The main purpose for shooting these weekly matches was for the classifiers that were offered each week. The club charged for, but never submitted the classifier scores. If the match scores are posted on the USPSA results page, can someone at another club submit the scores for us?
