I'll be shooting Limited. Can 't wait!

Anyone going to the NRA Annual Meeting this weekend in Charlotte, NC? I'm heading up to check out the exhibit hall tomorrow. I'll bring the camera and if there is anything interesting, I'll try to post some photos.
I'm working the USPSA booth Friday. I'll be sure to take some pics as well.

While I'm personally partial to the full stainless look, that is one COOL Sig you've created - have fun with it!
Has your wife found out how much you have in it, or will the divorce cost less? <grin>
She's getting a new M&P Julie Goloski 9mm, so "even Steven"....(yeah, right)

I am one of the wait list schlubs, but I look forward to returning to the Nationals.

Well it's here! I shot it at a local steel match (not steel challenge) here in NC. First the ammo...Atlanta Arms 124g .355 Super JHP (their 9 major ammo), that's the ammo we've been using during this whole process (thanks Danny). My first impression was how little recoil I felt. I expected the gun to bounce or something. The dot (once I found it) didn't move. I felt that the gun was going faster than I could react (if that makes any sense). I didn't have to wait on the gun for the sights to come back, they were just "there" once I pulled the trigger. For my first time shooting an open gun, let alone this project gun, it was a blast. I have included some videos of it. (I'm still playing chase the dot, but that will get better with practice...I hope)
I would like to thank Bruce Gray at Grayguns and Scott Folk and Randy Lee at Apex tactical for making this for me. I could not be happier.

hasn't shipped yet. probably not for Statesville, but definately for Rowan next month.

Finished! Thanks to Scott Folk @ Apex Tactical for making this a reality for me. Can't wait to get my gruby little hands on it! Roger's basepads are on the way to finish the mags. Thanks to hk_mtbr for the extra mags.

Sweet, any update on the Mag situation?
A very well know shooter sold me 2 of the real Sig 25 round "Open" mags that I plan on using, but I need to get in touch with Roger Sherman to get his basepads/followers/etc for my regular 19 round mags as well as converting the 25 rounders.

Almost done! Being sent off for Melonite. Sorry for the pic size..

Just wanted to say thanks to Frank Garcia, the CRO's, and to all the people who put on this great match. This was my first time there and I will definately return. The stage designs were very challenging (especially #2). I would also like to thanks to squad 8, they were a bunch of great competitors and hope to see them on the range in the future.

anyone else shooting all day Friday?
I'm shooting all day Friday. I guess we find out about squadding when we get there. Can I give you my ammo on Saturday so I don't have to worry about flying with it?

I'm going to start reloading 9mm on my 650 currently set up for 40. What do I need to buy to convert 40 to 9mm (outside of the dies)?

it was Debbie Keehart who actually told her about the purple belt at the class. I didn't know she had a website. I'll see if she know where to get one in purple.
Thanks everyone!

My wife just finished a 'Babes with Bullets' class with Kay Miculek and Lisa Munson, and she now wants a CR-Speed belt. Someone told her that she could get it with purple piping on it. I researched the Rescomp site, and all I see is red, blue, black, and white piping. Does anyone know where one might find a CR Speed belt with purple piping on it? It would be a nice xmas gift if I could find one.

Congrats to the winners and to River Bend for putting on such a great match. I would espicially like to thank the members of squad 5.

Becoming an RO
in USPSA/IPSC Rules
Posted · Edited by CPUFIXER
I just completed the RO class held in NC taught by George Jones. The class was great and I know I still have a lot to learn. George was a great instructor and I am excited to start officially "RO'ing" at our local matches (once I complete the final exam).
If anyone had doubts on becomming an RO, don't hesitiate to take the plunge.
