Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Nah... shoot it... go ahead and jump in. Word up. Request squad 11 and I'll give you the first class nickle tour of a State match with a wheel gun. I have never competed, but I may go ahead and man up and shoot there. I'll look you guys up if I do.
  2. It's easy to miss. Will I see you at the Texas State Limited this weekend? Haven't decided. I may go to shoot in Waco or spectate Texas State Limited.
  3. Thanks! Must have overlooked that point.
  4. Howdy folks! I'm new to USPSA/IPSC. Having problems with how to position speedloaders. Using Comp II speedloaders with CD2 metal holders (7 of them) on a CR Speed High Torque belt. According to what I can find in the rulebook they are supposed to be behind the hip. Am I right? I'm a big guy and if I put all of them on one side they are hard to reach. Am I just whining or is there are a better way? How do some of you guys position your loaders? Oh yeah, I'm a lefty too.
  5. I have an Unclie Mike's ambidextrous nylon holster. It covers the trigger guard, holds revolver securely, and butt of gun is not below belt. Is this holster legal? If not can I make it legal? I can get a new one but want to use what I have for my first match if possible. I shoot a S&W 686 6" .357. Thanks for any help or suggestions
  6. Thanks guys! In answer to your questions. I am in Stephenville, Texas right now, but will be moving to southwest Mississippi first of the year. I shoot store bought loads. I have thought about reloading but never had the excuse. I like the idea but know absolutley nothing about it. Bubber mentioned PF, what is this? Thanks again for the help.
  7. Thanks, found a great deal on ebay for speedloaders. Is there a good company for belts? leather or nylon?
  8. I want to begin USPSA shooting with a S&W 686 stainless 6" barrel .357 mag. Any suggestions on speed loaders, holsters, ammo, other gear? Please keep in mind don't want to spend alot of $ until I shoot my first match and make sure this is for me. Thanks for any help!
