  1. I have been having some issues with my reloads not running in my rifle lately. I think I solved the issue by seating the size die down a little more in the press (550B).

So here's the question. Before I set the die down further, I took the die apart (it's a Dillon carbide die)and noticed that the expander ball does not look like it is sitting perfectly in the center of the decaping pin when the pin is fully tightened down onto the shaft of the rest of the die. Is this normal for this die?

I'm just wondering if the ball being off set and causing the brass to distort when I resize.

  2. Every time I try to go strictly on this diet I get sick, again last week, bad. I have to find another way. I'm down 50 pounds in 13 months, but I have no energy and no muscles.

I tried the Atkin's Diet for a week a few years ago. After the third day I started to feel sick and had no energy. Not a good way for me to be eating I guess.

  3. It WILL happen but I can't force it...

Yep, Shoot the classifier like any other stage, stop worrying about classification and just shoot.

I guess I need to be more disciplined. Temptation is a tough thing to ignore. I'll work on it for sure.

You shot a great match today Dave.

  4. Spent the week trying to get the pool ready for the summer. Pool level had been dropping pretty consistantly after filling it...got me nervous, but I knew what was coming. Today I had to go in after the water level dropped below the skimmer and I found it. All the heavy rain from the spring washed the sand out from under the liner and a rock poked through the bottom. The liner is all buckled and there are irregularities al over the bottom where the sand has shifted....to messed up to try to patch. I can't wait to see what this will cost.

  5. I once put an empty mag on my belt after a stage and forgot to reload it. When I shot the next stage, I threw the EMPTY mag in the gun! I thought to myself as I grabbed the mag off my belt...hmmm, that feels pretty light. Luckily the other mags were full. I learned a valuable lesson that day.

  6. I have used over 25,000 Wolf small rifle and large pistol with 1 issue, the anvil fell out of that primer. It was my fault for not looking to make sure they were all there. They go bang when they're supposed to.
