ya kno what MikeyScuba says is rather good.
I want to add that should you collect your brass for a while,
you will have good brass for when primers roll back a bit from the high prices.
then the reloading may be worth the efforts and savings...
new to shooting? yeah, skip the reloading under current circumstances.
miranda.
Good advice. Once loaded ammo falls below the average price to reload, Primers will begin to come down.

Man I feel like a dummy. After trying all the home brew, pins, different brands and shapes of pins, etc I ordered a small jug of brass juice and gave it a try. Holy crap! The hype is true. Brass is just as clean without the hassle of pins and it’s actually more shiny. I’m a believer
Sounds like a pretty viable solution for folks who do not want to mess with the pins, but prefer the wet method.

Interesting discussion..
my 2 cents.. I vibrate all brass for an hour in old media. This cleans all the dirt, debris and mud off the cases. Then, I tumble the brass in corn cob with either NuFinish or Dillon polish for about a hour to 1 1/2 hours. This saves a bit of money on the cost of the media by repurposing the old media.

Looking for loading data for .45 ACP, 230 grain lead bullet, using Winchester 231 powder?
I beleive the old standby was 5.7 grains, but I'm not sure.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
