And he was a Canucks Fan. Who knew ?

They don't call Open "The Dark Side" for no reason. That is the pull you feel.
I say give in. What the hell. Nothing like shooting a 24 round CoF w/o a reload

a 1 gallon bag of 40 will hold 1000 cases but is very hard to close unless it is one of those with the slide type closure.

I bought a 5" 610 a few months ago, just to see what all the ruckus is about, and I still can't figure out anything it does from a competition standpoint that a .45 ACP revolver doesn't do better.
I guess it might make sense for the shooter crossing over from Limited who already has a bunch of .40 ammo, components, reloading equipment, etc. Otherwise, I don't really get it.
No, you get it. It is the caliber issue. just like the guys who shot 40 in production cause they already shoot 40 in Ltd. 9 is cheaper, perhaps a better caliber for Production but not for the occasional shooter that already has his 650 set up for 40.
Hooray for S&W! It seems they listened

Which one?
in Humor
Big one. I have too many Mikes with my fork when I try to eat the little ones.Powdered sugar on your waffle or not?
Powdered Sugar - sometimes w/o syrup
Sausage links or Sausage patties

Does S&W make an IDPA specific 625?
You can get the 625JM in 4" but no ESR 625, yet............
-
Without question, use the big one.

I load 223 with Varget on my Super 1050. One key is using larger power bar, not small. I still have an occasional powder spill but nothing crazy.
One day I'll polish the funnel like Tom suggests.

I really like the IOR stuff. Not just a good value but a good product.
My AR has been asking for a 2-12 x 32 for quite some time.
Oh, and Cactus Tactical, a forum sponsor, sells them.

Not sure how well this one will work with a low pressure cartridge .....
... or Revos
Revolvers not affected - Semi-auto only.

And there is one listed on Gunbroker for $ 799.00

Advantage of EoTech is the 65 MOA cirlce with 1 moa dot gives more reference for longer distance.

The question is this. Are the rules different for a local match versus a major? If the rules are the same...no it does not slide.- Rules are the same for all level matches.
Go put your head back in the sand and keep believing that. While we at it, I have a bridge in NY I'd like to sell.
-
50 yds ? Benny has it . Use a C-more. 6 MOA dot and you will be fine.
I use one on my Open-class AR for close stuff and find that if I start on a close target I rarely switch to the magnified scope for < 50 yd stuff.

Outdoormarksman had them too. $ 73.00 / 5K

A guy has a box stock G22, none of the usual production legal mods done to it. In order to keep playing the game they need to start shooting 9mm so they drop in a 9mm barrel in, factory or non-factory but identical specs, no other mods. Do you bump them to open? Would you let it slide at a monthly local match?
Local match ? I would / could not care less. Shoot 9mm. Have fun.

In the last few months I've had two competitors stop to point out an unpasted target , first time I showed him the clock and the second I stopped the competitor. Being able to score the targets accurately was the deciding factor on those decisions. After both events I explained the rules to them. I will also add, I've seen the best two hits given to the shooter which is totally wrong. That is not an accurate score!
Boz1911 & all, so I'm still confused.
When do you -- as an RO -- stop the shooter, because you (and/or the shooter?) notice an unpasted target, and when do you say nothing, and let the shooter continue shooting the stage? Thx
I'm no RO but I would never stop a shooter for an unpasted/taped target. As a shooter, I would not stop either. Just keep shooting. If there are 4 A's, so be it. 2 A's & 2 C's, well then, they have some figuring to do. All the same caliber holes ? Best 2 go to me.
Now, if was my job to paste the targets before I shot,

I load mine to 1.165 (using a montana gold 124gr JHP)
Bruce
Ditto - It is for a STI framed gun. I'm sure it would not fit in a Glock. You might need something closer to SAMMI spec for that.

this, IMHO, is the best option:

McNeil,
Their acceptable use says "certain firearms, firearm parts or accessories, ammunition, weapons or knives". Send them an eMail saying that without a list, there was no way to know which "certain parts" were prohibited and which were not. It is not hard, EBay has a list that very detailed, ask them why they don't. Tell them if they had a list, you would have followed it.
Their user agreement says " We may hold your funds for up to 180 Days if reasonably needed to protect against the risk of liability " Ask them what risk of liability they have that holding your money solves?
Copy the letter to you State AG.

Have you tried ALCO in Duarte, CA ? I think they advertise in Front Sight or at least they did at one time.

Why just the 2 ammo choices ?
Black Hills make a 69 gr SMK load as does Federal GMM. Either would be a better alternative.
9mm in Stock?
in 9mm/38 Caliber

Montana Gold Bullet seems to have stock and the stuff they don't only shows a back order of 1 week.
