  1. I was hoping it’s just a simple clean up fix or resolder.  With current situation don’t want to send anything in just in case riots start happening again.  C-more will charge a fee to fix it so I may just buy another red dot sight.

    Thanks for the replies.

  2. Had this C-more sight for quite a while now and I noticed the battery dies faster than my other Open gun.  I replaced the battery again and noticed the dot is dimly on when the switch is on zero.  Anyone had this problem before?  Troubleshooting what causes it?  Fix action?

  3. I hope the new mags work in the old para's I was planing on putting a 40 top end on my p18 when the new mags come out.

They should work fine. It's playing the 140/170mm game that will require new base pads.

  4. I kind'a like the later outfit WW had instead of the one in the pic (higher cut) sexier... Sandra B. as WW?... No way dudes she ain't got it to be WW. How about Sarah Michelle Gellar or Jessica Alba as WW?... Yeah baby yeah...:lol::D josh

  5. Sniper, Great job on your stage win. I think the gun is right for you since you are starting to kick *$$. I don't know what I was thinking when I asked that bull/bushing barrel, it's a hybrid so it can't be bushing. Duh  Congrats again on your stage win. josh

  6. Nice gun, amazing you didn't get a 4.5 or 4" barreled gun. Nice to see old school full size blasters and that racegun is soooo pretty. Maybe I'll get my full size open guns prettied up with a hard chrome finish. Did you go with a bull barrel or bushing? My advice to you is to get a blast cover for your C-more. My comp guns have reverse rake compensators and my lense gets all fogged up after a stage. I think hybrid holes are terrible on the lenses if not blast shielded. I suppose with 165pf it won't pop your tooth fillings, that's if you have any (fillings not tooth). :D Please do tell us how it shoots.... josh

  7. CALTRANS s#*Ked @$$, I went through the same poss during April and didn't think it would come down like that and sure enough I had a brand new SUV with 4wd with nice tires and I still had to get a pair of snow chains that had to be installed by some dude smellin like he just got out of Jack Daniel's distillery. The worst thing about it is the dude wanted my 1st borne son for them, I think I talked him down to $84.00 bucks installed. Grrrrrr.... I wish I had a shotgun then. josh

  8. Aimpoint will be a better choice, because the tube actually looks thinner than the Tasco's due to the conical design of the Aimpoint. I personally own 2 Tasco PDP3 and 2 Propoints. One PDP3 had it's intensity adjustment broke due to improper use of turning it off, and my dot went intermittent during matches. Tasco fixed it for $20 and shipping cost. So far it's been holding up, when I finally took it off my open gun I could not believe how many dings it had on the bottom portion of the tube from all the ejected brass hitting it. It still works and so does the other Propoints I have in my inventory. josh

  9. Darn I was thinking about that missing round while I was reading the posts... O well. A pistol grip is nice but I rather stick with the full butt just in case the intruder is not armed and just need a bit of a butt stroke for a quick lesson in trespassing. Good job in getting out of Kali.

  10. I've never seen so much brand new mags except when a couple of my troops were assigned to load up some mags for our sister flight that was inbound for Iraq. It was for more than 150 troops/ with a battle pack of ammo each and some extra for the designated lead and tail gunners. The round count was somewhere in the 20K of 3/4 ball and 1/4 tracers. They had sore thumbs/hands it took them 6 hours to do it. josh

  11. That is one nice rig, good looking and ergonomic. Excellent! Hey maybe some big rifle stock making company will take notes. How much has that project cost you if you don't mind me asking... I'm droooooolinng all over the keyboard... josh

  12. I keep telling myself to relax when I shoot, I'm usually relaxed until I get on deck and then the tension builds up. I shot a big match once and the first stage I shot my bladder bothered me before the LAMR then it was all over. 2 mikes on the first stage of a big match. :( I usually do good in club matches, even beating a couple of masters on a regular basis. :D It's all mental I tell you. josh

  13. Something similar happened to my open gun with a very lightened slide steel loads and I accidently fired some 150 power factor type loads through it. The slide cycled faster of course and the same type of problem like you're having occured when I tried to go fast. It will do it more often with the 150 pf loads than the light 125 pf loads. I ended up swapping the disconnector with a prepped CS that was polished smooth and the problem disappeared. The thing is I never tried it again with the 150pf loads because those loads were battering the gun to death. Probably how I got a hair line crack formed on my frame. josh

  14. Royce, I think you hit the mark. I don't have much money to drop on a Bridgeport, I wish I did. I'm also not going to make gunsmithing a living so the less money I spend the better. I'm an enthusiast that thinks of things that I can add or build so I can improve both gun and my shooting. I thinks all of us have that in us, I just want to make it happen since getting it on paper and machined by a pro will take too much time and money. Thanks for your input. josh

  15. I have modified an EAA 38super mag to work in my 1st gen Caspian hi-cap in 38super. I had to used a caspian follower and a browning hi-power wolffe 10+ spring, also used an extended base plate which brought the capacity to 21 rounds. It was flawless in 38 supercomp, but I had a bit of a headache with 38super. The mag body ended up developing vertical cracks one at the front and another on the side. I think I enduced them because I used a vise to squeeze them judiciously to make them fit a 1st gen hi cap. I did have to trim the feed lips some and also modify the mag catch hole. Would I do it again? Probably not, the mag cost around $125 to make, and all it's doing is sitting around as proof for my replacement long stick I paid $150 for. I'm going to rejoice once this ban sunsets, ooops I forgot I'm from California. :(:o

  16. Carlos,

I appreciate you taking your time to explain and give examples of what you have accomplished with your mini mill. Like I said, I'm not willing to spend 5k on a milling machine that will just sit on my bench most of the time. If you can send me pictures of some of the work you have done with your mini mill it will be much appreciated. my email "joshuatroy@go.com" josh

  17. This is exactly the feedback I'm looking for. Lots of mix info here and I really appreciate it, kind of like trying to see everyones' view point on the subject. I don't know if I can slam even 5k on a 2k lb vertical machine, but this really gives me a lot of leads to researc. Thanks, you guys are super. josh
