I've been picking up 308 ammo and have nothing to shoot it out of.............. yet.

Have one I bought years ago, they are pretty tough and fold up for transporting. The only negative is the handle sticks out in front of the cart and can make it a challenge to park so you don't trip over the handle.

Any Multigun matches that would be good for a first time Multigun shooter in the North East Indiana area(ie, Indiana/Michigan/Ohio)?
Just wanting to get a feel for multigun before I start driving longer distances to bigger matches. Im shooting in my first USPSA Production Class match in April, and would love to get into Multigun as well this year.
I know that there is a quarterly Multi Gun held at the "Atlanta(indiana not Georgia)" Multi Gun group. Contact this gentleman via PM on this board, "rz317 ", I am sure he can direct you to the multi gun match he hosts in Indiana.
Come on out and play.

My Dad was left handed (I am right handed) and I used to use his holster setup and shoot matches with it and was suprised at how well I could do.
It did cause a debate once on a stage to be shot "weak hand only" when someone noticed I used what normally was my "strong hand".

I have been shooting some 9mm ammo my dad loaded probably 20 years ago with no failures so far.
They have been stored in GI ammo cans.

I have moved long distance several times and use a rental truck with the "over cab" storage area then pack all the guns up in the loft and pack everything behind it.Its outta sight and inexcessable.
I am not a legal expert but this has worked for me so far.......Rennie.

Man I've got 2 650's and a 1050 with no room to set them up .I should kick the wifes car out of the garage , insulate it and throw in a centeral air to turn it into a reloading center.

Great match!!
Hey Ryan, when I loan you a a mag of ammo in the middle of a stage the least you could do is not beat me on that stage.
See ya next year, Rennie.

The best cure for felt recoil I have found is to shoot an ATA regestered trap match the day before a multigun match. After 500 or so rounds fired through a trap gun any semiauto shotgun feels soft.
I spent years with an 1100 that fired flawlessly in practice but failed too many times in competition, had Benny build a M2 for me and have not had a failure yet.

Thanks Benny, I'll have to see if they can upgrade mine when I send it in for repair.

We have a shooter who has been repeatedly.. counseled. He was overheard saying "I pay my fees. Why should I have to work?" Next match he pastes his own targets for each stage.
Thats the best solution yet.

The storm is just south of me.I can look out my back door and see a black wall of clouds exploding with lightening.

Frothy milky substance in the oil/filter = head gasket breach

Since we're talking GM, can anyone tell me why my 2005 Chevy van keeps misfiring when under load, like going up a long hill? Replaced the cap, rotor, wires and plugs just a bit ago. Ran like a charm for 2 weeks (1000 miles) then started up again. It's the 4.3 liter.
JT, sorry to hear about your problem too. I think mine will be less expensive to fix, if I could only figure out what's wrong!
Possible cracked spark plug?If you have access to a scan tool it can indicate what cylinder(s) are misfireing on a test drive.

SKIPPING CHURCH
================
Father Norton woke up Sunday morning and realizing it was an
exceptionally beautiful and sunny early spring day, decided he
just had to play golf.
So... he told the Associate Pastor that he was feeling sick and
persuaded him to say Mass for him that day.
As soon as the Associate Pastor left the room, Father Norton
headed out of town to a golf course about forty miles away.
This way he knew he wouldn't accidentally meet anyone he knew
from his parish. Setting up on the first tee, he was alone.
After all, it was Sunday morning and everyone else was in
church!
At about this time, Saint Peter leaned over to the Lord while
looking down from the heavens and exclaimed, "You're not going
to let him get away with this, are you?"
The Lord sighed, and said, "No, I guess not."
Just then Father Norton hit the ball and it shot straight
towards the pin, dropping just short of it, rolled up and fell
into the hole.
IT WAS A 420 YARD HOLE IN ONE!
St. Peter was astonished. He looked at the Lord and asked,
"Why did you let him do that?"
The Lord smiled and replied, "Who's he going to tell?"

CO test is the best way to check for blown head gaskets, it does happen but really not that common. From experiance I can tell you they can lose coolant inturnally with no real evidence other than loseing coolant.
No "trick" to the push rods so to speak, you could remove the gaskets on the older ones only removing half the pushrods but not the newer ones.
Need any help PM me.I dont claim to be a mechanic but I play one at work.

I have been to a range where the persons in the hole and deep hole (in the shooting order) must paste and set steel or they shoot last at the next stage and set/paste prior to their own turn.
Everyone knew what to expect up front, never saw anyone fail to participate and have to set their own stage.
