JamesY.......what is your LOP on your ARFX stock then? I am going to measure where my stock is set at now and hopefully the LOP is then same as what your measure.

My AR is currently setup with and 18 inch mid gas system with a Magpul UBR stock on it(standard carbine buffer and carbine spring). Been looking at the Ace ARFX stock for weight savings. Model one sales sells it as a complete kit with the rifle spring and rifle buffer. Since my gun is not rifle length gas will I have any issues cycling and such? My bolt carrier is a JP tactical and the gas block is non adjustable EGW clamp on. Also what is the LOP on this stock with the standard recoil pad it ships with?

My test loads are at 5.3 5.4 5.5 and 5.6. Hopefully I can get to 165 without using max load.

Just recently purchased some Berrys 185g flat nose plated bullets and am looking for load data to make USPSA major. I currently use w231 powder and winchester primers. I don't even know if it's possible to load it to major. My reloading manuals give no info for plated bullets. I just need a close starting point right now before I break out the chrony. My thoughts are that these will have a little less kick than the 200g LSWC I currently use. I am open to switching powders if necessary.
