  1. I got it! I did three things and got my DA/SA on Sp-01 Manual Safety to get lowered DA 6lbs 1.2oz SA 2lbs 6.2oz Average of 10 pulls with a Wheeler Gauge This is with a 11.5lb hammer spring and CGW Pro Kit with Race Hammer and reduced FSB spring 1) Polished a few more parts with aluminum oxide: • CGW Race Hammer sides to mirror(accidentally started with 120grit, 400, 800, 1500, flitz) • Hammer Pin center area • Sear Pin center area I did the pins by chucking them in a drill and cutting strips of sandpaper to the size off the center area—400,800,1500 2) Ran sand paper from 400 to 1500 through trigger pin hole 3) Applied CGW moly to all ignition control parts(after cleaning with 99% alcohol) I wouldn’t be able to tell you which of the three improved it the most but the action feels great and functions well—that 1lb+ off is just what I wanted! If I pull it differently it reads 5lbs 14oz for DA for 10 pulls Included pics of how polished some parts are and my home made fine dust containment center with a Seba vacuum
  2. Hi, I'm having problems getting my DA down . Before any mods my DA was heavy: beyond 8lbs After smoothing out the parts noted in Atlas's guide with 2000grit and polishing compound AND installing CGW Pro Kit with 11.5lb Hammer Spring: DA 7.5lbs SA 3.1lbs Then I found nothing's guide on the CZ forum which he got 4lb DA: https://czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=42644.0 I followed it: Bought aluminum oxide paper in 400, 800, 1500 and tired flitz this time. I worked up the grits rather than starting at 2000. I scratch in different directions removing the prior scratch and do that at least twice before going up to next grit. I even polished sides of the frame the trigger bar touches. I have a mirror finish on several parts. I only polished the slot /w the hammer and didn't touch the CGW hammer. I did polish the spring inside and out from all the grits up to 3000(flitz) I just put it all together and nothing changed! I'm kind of at a loss of how to bring down my DA. I'm using Mil-comm TW25-b grease and oil and I have some of CGW moly lube arriving tomorrow hoping it'll make a change. What do you guys recommend I do next to lower my DA?
