Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Canik wouldn't send me a new barrel, they wanted me to send in the entire gun, I'm not waiting for who knows how long to get it, I had to wait for months just to get a couple optic plate screws that weren't included when bought new. I think the leade was cut crooked instead of the chamber. Traded it off today, no more Caniks for me, no parts available in the US, terrible resale value and not USA made.
  2. With Berrys plated bullets groups are comparable to the powder coated cast, 1 1/2" to 2" at 15 yards.
  3. I have a Rival-S Chrome that I purchased new in July and it continues to lead the barrel with powder coated bullets. I have slugged the barrel and it measured consistently at .3535" throughout. I tried sizing my bullets at .356 and used a noe case expander .358/.354 , still leaded. Sized at .358 with a noe expander .360/.358 and still leading in as little as 20 rounds. I have tried bullseye, unique and sport pistol powders and the bullet is a lee 120 gr TC. After looking at the barrel with a borescope, I see some of the rifling lands start right at the edge of the chamber and others start farther up the barrel, would this indicate a crooked cut chamber? Could this be a cause to the leading problem? Thanks, John.
