  1. Hey pros, I wanted to ask a question about zeroing my new PCC. im gonna be running an eotech on a unity riser. I know I’ve seen most people say to zero at 25, but does the riser change anything at all? primary uses will be the range for steel knockdown and maybe some USPSA. I kinda feel like everything I shoot is probably 15-20 years and in.
  2. Help me with this tough decision good folks. I have a TR-9 heading out to me shortly and I’m at the point where I need to decide what optic to buy and I’m genuinely torn. Torn between the EOTECH EXPS2 Green and the Romeo 3XL. Cosmetically I like the eotech more on the rifle…. I think the Romeo may look a little small. yes, I’m vain and like how things look. I know the Romeo isn’t as durable, but not a big worry on the PCC Primary use is things like knockdown, USPSA, range fun, etc. I may be more drawn to the eotech cuz I like the big glass, have one on my rifle, it’s different and looks cooler. the Romeo I haven’t shot with yet, but like it for pistol and am gonna put it on an open gun I’ll be using at the same time. so maybe better to have same optic on both rifle and pistol…. Or bigger, different, more fun optic makes more sense? I dunno. Wish I could buy both but I can’t lol.
  3. Thanks. was also looking into risers for the eotech (which Im leaning towards). what are your thoughts on those. I use the standard mount the exps comes w on my ar, but I do have to really get down and hunched into. considering something like the unity. I’m sure the Lerna is even more comfortable, but looks horrible and not sure how well those run for competitions
  4. Thanks for the response. regarding the Holosun, wouldn’t the EXPS project better since it’s a Hws and not a dot?
  5. Happy new year everyone, With my new PCC coming soon, I’ve got the research and buy itch and currently trying to pick the best optic for the job. I'm torn between an EXPS and a Romeo 3XL. Vastly different, I know…. But still having trouble deciding. I have an Eotech on my 556 rifle and like it. I do have a slight astigmatism so it blooms but just a little. Not really even a bloom, but just the outer ring is not as crisp as can be.. I do find w the eotech it’s easier for me to be target focused as I find it “projects” easier on to a target than a red dot. That said, I know a lot of ppl use and like the 3XL. I like the big glass too. i know sig not the best reliability wise, but imagine on a soft shooting 9mm PCC that shouldn’t be much of an issue. Any opinions from the experts here?
  6. Thanks for the responses everyone. i guess another thought that came to mind is: i live in the commie state of NJ where we are limited to 10rd mags… are standard Glock 10 rounders too short/uncomfortable for PCC competition use? should I stick with 10s, or go for a longer stick and pin it so that it’s more comfortable for PCC use? Also, does anyone have experience with Cross Armory Glock mag couplers???
  7. Hey Gang, just ordered my first PCC after 2 years of competitive shooting w handguns and couldn’t be more excited. Because I’m new to PCC I have some noob questions, and hoping you can point me in the right direction. The PCC I bought (TR9) takes standard Glock mags, but can someone point me towards what are considered the best Glock mags for PCC?
  8. Thanks! I’m in NJ too and know what you mean.
  9. Interesting. i called Infinity and that’s the ammo they recommended.
  10. Cleaning the extractor channel is easy enough?
  11. I don’t plan on reloading, but I see Eley 38SC new coming in at 0.414 brand new.

    Romeo 3XL

Hello gang, about to pull the trigger on an Infinity open gun and am torn between making the choice for optic. Ive been seeing them lately with the Romeo 3 XLs, and love how they look and love the extra large glass. Ive been using an SRO and 507c on my other guns and like those… but wanted to maybe try the XL…. But some of the previous “Sig Stories” have me second guessing myself. I know that the SRO and 507c will be much more durable…. But this is gonna be for a frame mount… never the less, are they really breaking for people that often? Should I stick with the SRO or go with the XL?
  13. Yeah, I don’t doubt that. My concern though is, I have no problem doing general maintenance and cleaning and field, stripping and all that good stuff, But how often do I have to strip the gun down completely and tinker with it there? Do I constantly have to adjust magazines? Do I constantly have to do things like check, extractor, tensions, and all other kind of what I consider for me personally to be higher level stuff? Again, with my staccato, I take it apart, I clean it, 20,000 rounds and not one issue. I am just trying to understand if with an open gun, there is a huge huge difference between maintenance as compared to a regular 2011
  14. Hey everyone, I'm new to true open guns but am oooohh sooo tempted to pull the trigger on the Infinity IMM Open gun hitting the books next week. I am a bit of a noob tho with some questions about open guns, and hoping you fine folks can help point me in the right direction For more context, I've been shooting for about 3 years now, mainly at the range for fun and doing local USPSA and knockdown matches. I enjoy these events, do them often, like getting better, but I'm not doing it be super competitive or a pro shooter... I'm doing it mainly for fun and because I enjoy the finer things in life (which is was brought me to Infinity). I currently have a Staccato XC which is a great gun that I love, but it put's me in open category and only runs minor ammo.... and then when I saw all these sick Infinity's I was like - yea, I need to have one. Anyway, for a true open gun like this my main concerns are ammo, maintenance, and reliability... I don't plan to load my own ammo probably ever... I get that 38SC will cost me more that what I'm shooting now but fck it... you only live once haha... Question 1 is - is there a real chance that ammo is hard to impossible to get from factory? I know there are a few places to get 38SC from now, but is this a valid concern? Question 2 is - I'm not a tinkerer... so outside of regular cleaning do these guns run, or is it something where I'll need to be much more hands on and always fix and adjust things? With the Staccato XC I keep it clean but have yet to fully fully take it apart, and I’m like 15-20k rounds in with never an issue. aside from regular maintenance and changing springs I haven’t done much else. While I’m tempted to get the infinity, I don’t love the idea of having to fully take everything apart super often to make adjustments, etc.. is it really much different caring for an open gun than say my XC? and Question 3 is - (kinda related to question 2), but are these things very fragile and/or break often... From the little research I've done, I've heard people say you need 2 open guns... one for shooting, and another one for when that ones in the shop lol. Any truth to this? Thanks for your time, and very much looking forward to joining the fam real soon.. Larry
