Yes I mean 40 S & W. I should proofread this before I posted it. I’m experienced at reloading but I have never reloaded any caliber below the minimum listed in any manual. Safety with caution. So I’m curious if anyone out there has tried this before. Kinda like shooting 38’s in a 357 is what I’m hoping to achieve.

Hello 1911 Fans. I am going to take a carry permit class over the course of 2 days. I anticipate shooting 500 rounds. I am a at reloading. My question is “ can I use the load data from the 40mm with less powder in my 10mm case. Same powder, same bullet, bullet weight, and primer, different starting load powder charge of 3 grains between the 40mm and the 10mm in 1911. Will doing this raise pressures to an unsafe level. I trying to make a reduced power load because of arthritis in my wrist. 500 rounds in one or two days is a lot for me. Has anyone tried this yet? Mr Thomas
