Hi, been checking the forum and I am a new CZ Shadow 2 owner. Been shooting Glocks For a while so the CZ platform is new to me. My issue is that I upgraded the CZ pistol with Ultimate springs for a recent match;
-11 lb CGW recoil spring
-Floating trigger pin(CGW)
-Ultimate trigger return spring
-10lb Ultimate main spring
-Ultimate reduced power firing pin spring.
I had no light primer strikes so far, but I had an issue during the “make ready” command (twice when slide is racked). The firing pin stop plate pops out and the firing pin and firing pin spring shoots out.
Attached is a photo of the OEM firing pin. I asked a CZ USA customer service and they said it is normal to have that ring based on the exploded drawing he sent me. Does anyone have the same ring on their stock CS shadow 2 firing pin or yours have a smooth surface until it tapers. I think that the coil of the Ultimate firing pin spring gets caught in the ring causing it to lock. Btw, the ultimate firing pin spring has a smaller diameter than the stock spring. Any help is appreciated.
