Hi Zerofade.
Look at the down place of your slide ,under the firing pin hole.
Maybe it drugs the bullet when it comes back and the bullet hits the frond side of the grip. This can't leave the magazine drop free.

A lot of shooters struggle with optimizing their Target to Target Transitions and I figured I would pull together a video on how to measure and improve that skill. Check it out and let me know what you think.
Nice job.I like it ad i'll try it.Thak you.

Ok..... What am I missing in the “flat shooting” claim. All of the videos I have seen with people shooting it still shows it muzzle flipping. I can produce less muzzle flip with my major power factor 2011 Limited gun by simply gripping it properly.
The Alien gun looks cool and it’s a neat design. But if I am going to shell out $5k on a blaster it would be a custom 2011.
I am not sure what customer base this Alien blaster is supposed to target at it’s crazy high price. Rich plinkers? Competition shooters will be hard pressed to pay double or triple the cost of Shadow 2 or similar production gun it would be competing against. Maybe I am missing something obvious that would make the Alien blaster a viable product in whatever market. I just don’t see it taking off unless it was priced in the $1500 - $2000 range.
I thik that it's the best observation.

Yes it will function without problems.
Although there is a possibility to snag the magazine ,if you over do it when you insert it.

I shoot with a guy who couldn't get his CM to run 100%. He ordered a 2011.
I know he's new to reloading so not sure if the issues he was having is due to improper loading?
I have never see a CM to have problems with factory or good reloaded ammo, major or minor , cleand or dirty.
The problem begins with the reloads (OAL, PROFILE, DIAMETR ) .

There will be people who buy it.
This is correct.
That horse is dead already.
Why don't you wait to see when it will be in the market what is the price and the response from the people.

To update. I squished it a bit similar to the way manolis showed. I started on the legs of the spring. It took a few tries but it is now similar effort required to the way my shadow 2 came factory.
Success!
Glad that you are happy.

Another useful tool for removing the checkering is this one :
With some good emery clothes you can make exellent job.

..........I hate the factory checkering but the grip size is really good and I’m not sure if I want to mess with it.
Try to cut it deeper ,with a file.
So you will keep the size and it will be more aggressive.

1. Unscrew a little the holding screw.Maybe is overtired and doesn't leave the spring to work.
2. Check the mag release for burrs.
3. Remove spring. Put the screw in the semicircle that is in top of the spring and use pliers to gently compress spring to narrow the gap between the top of legs.
Repeat as necessary to get the release you want. Be careful don't over do it

It's difficult to achieve the tight tolerances of a good machine with hand fitting. The only problem is to put the subject on machine correctly and make good counts every time that you move it .

yes u can modify them with no problem .but without this it's not best idea , spring will seat higher and can touch slide and make problems..( i saw this few times)
It's a solution when you can't find the original.

find original or install pin only. ts frame wider than spo1 shadow frame . cut for holding spring is 1.5 mm further
I have modified to of them and no one have any problem .
The gun works perfect and the slide stop doesn't have any movement (500 rounds or more).
I have notice the difference in the spring cut but (maybe) the friction is is too much and holds the slide stop in position.

Does anyone have an extra TS slide stop they are willing to sell or know of any (USA) LGS that have any in stock for sale? I can't find any for sale on line. Seems everyone is out of them.
Take a SP01 Shadow slide stop, trim it and you are ok
Trim that area untill the left safety doesn't touches the slide stop,

stove pipes
in Glock
Not full stroke.
.low power factor
.heavy spring
.very dirty(much friction)
.thumb touches the slide
.loose grip
My thoughts.

It is easy to cut 5.56 cases down to 19mm ( in a lathe). The problem is that the walls of the cutted case is very thick and they bulk too much when a lead (.357) bullet gets in.Also i think that the bottom is much thicker(less volume for powder).

Doe's anybody knows if the mineral spirits, WD-40 or gasoline effects the plastic trigger ?
I clean my TSO with gasoline or mineral spirit and i am afraid that is possible to break.
Thank you.
