Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Quick update. New firing pin solved the issue, my Tanfo is running properly again. Thank you so much for you help guys! Much appreciated
  2. I was finally able to get to the range and adjusting the overtravel screw helped with the hammer not following but now the firing pin doesn't hit the bullet any more. Thank god I have a sense of humour (and more guns) and can laugh about this
  3. Sorry for my late reply. Just before starting my vacation I received all the new parts and replaced everything Trigger, trigger bar, sear, hammer, all the springs. Went to the range, loaded one bullet per mag, hammer follow after releasing the slide so the bullet was shot. Funny enough this doesn't happen with dummy rounds or empty chamber. Have to polish something off the sear so my safety works properly again (it kind of hits the sear and not going below it) Don't know if this may cause the issue with the hammer still following. Been reading about the screw in my trigger that adjusts the post travel after I've fired a shot (no idea what the correct name is). Anyway, a hammer follow may be possible if this screw is not in the correct position. Is it possible that this is a reason for a hammer follow when racking the gun?
  4. Thanks for the feedback. I'm looking to simply replace everything. Don't want to replace single parts with other parts may need replacement sooner or later. Better safe than sorry...
  5. - bought it used - only factory parts have been used here (Tanfoglio Xtreme) - sear is in position, trigger is going fully forward - I haven't made any adjustments to the gun except I replaced the trigger and sear springs with original Tanfoglio springs few days ago because someone suggested it (didn't cause any more issues, everything stayed the same) Since I live in Europe I can order directly from Italy. I tend to replace the sear, hammer and trigger with Tanfoglio Unica parts, they offer a full kit. Photos here: https://imgur.com/a/ryil2cV Thanks a lot for all the help, much appreciated!
  6. I can't judge it really. Honestly, I'm not experienced enough to judge it. I'd say it's worn. I do have the photos in a better quality but 500kb is the limit. Hopefully you can see the important parts otherwise I can upload the photos somewhere and post the links here (if that is allowed)
  7. First suggestion I received by DM was changing the sear spring, tested two different ones, same issues. Still very low trigger pull weight and hammer still coming down when closing the slide. Will order new hammer next, thank you for the suggestion!
  8. Hello everyone, I have a few issues with my Tanfoglio Gold Match Xtreme SA only. 1. My trigger pull weight has suddenly decreased massively from around 1.3kg to 500-600g I want my higher trigger pull weight back :D 2. If I let my slide move forward (with slide lock or racking it) the hammer falls down. I have to say that this is my first gun. I clean it after every ~500 rounds. I didn't change any parts yet and I may have fired around 5k rounds with it. I have no clue what may be the issue with it. I apologize for my english or if my explanation isn't on point, English isn't my first language.
