To be fair, it DOES pick up the hammer/striker drop BUT it will also pick up the sound from drawing.

I find it more valuable to run repetitive drills without having to hit a button. For example  (25) .8 second draw drills with a 5 second delay between drills

Thank you. Looking forward to picking one of these up.

Yup, got mine and love it compared to my Pact timer.

the added functionality of creating drills that repeat is amazing. I don't have to hit the button over and over. The app works well

Excellent. I believe this is the timer that MDT picked up to manufacture/distribute, so hopefully will be readily available soon.

Does it actually work with dryfire?

  3. IMO the MIL-XT reticle is more useful than the MIL-C for long range. Everyone’s eyes respond differently, but I find that even fine reticles can be usable at 8-10x for me.

I had a 6-24 viper pst and remember that the reticle sucked. Open center with no dot.

  4. I clamp the rifle into a sturdy tripod, get it level using a bubble level on the scope base, then mount the scope level with the rifle. I then align the reticle with a plumb line or the horizon and mount/adjust the anti-cant device. I use stabila and starrett pocket levels (mainly because they are multi-purpose and reliable), but the wheeler levels work fine too. Once the scope is in the mount, I usually leave it in there, even if I move the scope to a different rifle.
