SlvrDragon50
Anyone else have an RCBS lockout die and ergo lever on their Hornady LnL? I'm finding that the die does lockout, but it only locks out barely (maybe 1" of travel difference) which isn't really enough for me to notice it's locked out. Is my die set up incorrectly or is this just due to the adjusted ergonomics?
Want2BS8ed
1" is about all you will get. If it's squishy (for lack of a better description) and not a bone jarring stop, then your die is not set correctly. If you are having trouble with the mechanical lock-out, In Line Fabrication sells an adaption of Dillon's audible powder check. I used one of their older versions and it worked well.MSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SlvrDragon50
I've been talking to some people, and the problem lies with the resizing die. While I do lube, it requires so much effort that it's hard for me to notice that 1" difference. I think I will be resizing and depriming on my press in one step now prior to cleaning rather than depriming by hand then cleaning then sizing, especially since I have a case feeder. It's a lot easier for me to notice that 1" when I am not resizing.
