Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. That's exactly what I was looking for, thank you. What made you choose the CH4D dies?
  2. Currently, the GSI international dies do not have an RL1050 toolhead to go with them. I'm unclear, besides the larger vacuum port, as to what modifications are required in order to run those dies in my RL1050. Does anyone know what those modifications are, or who might be able to do them for me? GSI trim dies: http://www.gsiinternational.com/Trim-Dies-_8_4243.html
  3. I'm having a real hard time finding one in stock anywhere. Do you remember the product code for the one that worked for you? The ones I have been using are: plain black: 6320-56-411 6325-56-411 tac black: 6320-56-131 6325-56-131 paddle, plain black: 6378-56-411
  4. Do you have the changlog for 1.1.11? I didn't see it on the website or google play store.
  5. http://in.reuters.com/article/2013/05/03/barnesandnoble-google-idINL2N0DJ2LT20130503 I don't know if this will apply to the nook simple touch.
  6. Do you envision this logging to be a source for backups as well? I'm always afraid of a nook dieing in the field for a big match and losing the scores since the last sync. I really like the email feature too, that way shooters can keep track of their scores. QR codes seem too complicated to me, I think a simple approve button is sufficient. Definitely. If necessary. The results can be filtered, so you can see all for a squad, a shooter, or a stage. I rely on frequent syncing to handle devices dying. We are gearing up to add cloud sync, where a device's data goes to the cloud for synching and for backup. That would be seriously awesome. We are already provisioning a wifi mesh network (lots of APs) for our coverage, but don't have an internet gateway attached yet. If this comes, we will definitely be adding one. Even with the frequent syncing, we still have the possibility of having to do a reshoot, but that's why we have paper for now. However, the paper is yet another burden to put on the RO and scorer. They have enough things to deal with.
  7. I tried it, it didn't end well

  9. Thankyou again for providing additional development and support for the Android version.
  10. The issue is the one you linked I think is not built for 2.1, but instead is for a later android version
  11. I used the one I linked in the original post I made: https://code.google.com/p/hackerskeyboard/issues/detail?id=57#c8 The md5 sum appears to be difference from what you linked: pdice-mac:nook pdice$ md5 hkeyboard.apk MD5 (hkeyboard.apk) = fe4991a26aabbc648cf85b4f7f0ce521 pdice-mac:nook pdice$
  12. I had to enter a new shooter using the hacker's keyboard today. After entering the first character of the name, it immediately exits. If you click on the text field again, you can type it normally replacing the first character in the field. However, for our matches, the master tablet is an iPad, and shooters are only entered that way.
  13. It must be different on your system somehow. That was a cut and paste from my history.
  14. I had no idea you could do that! I'm guessing that brings over any matches you have on the source nook as well? Makes an exact duplicate of the Nook you made the image from, so yes it would have all the matches as well. Be careful with this. You clone *everything* about that master nook including its mac address. So now, when you connect these nooks to the network, they will all have the same ip address and networking gets really tough Follow this post on xda-developers to set the mac address: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=892426 You'll have to use adb wireless and a hex editor to get it done.
  15. Use the hacker's keyboard, it works great. Download hacker's keyboard: https://code.google....es/detail?id=57 Download Nook Color Tools: http://forum.xda-dev...ad.php?t=868366 Install both via ADB: MacBook-Air:nook$ adb install NookColorTools_0.2.apk 527 KB/s (12130 bytes in 0.022s) pkg: /data/local/tmp/NookColorTools_0.2.apk Success MacBook-Air:nook$ MacBook-Air:nook$ adb shell mount -o remount,rw /dev/block/mmcblk0p5 /system MacBook-Air:nook$ adb push hkeyboard.apk /system/app 250 KB/s (1282145 bytes in 5.005s) MacBook-Air:nook$ adb reboot Then using nook color tools, select hacker's keyboard as your keyboard.
