Should I buy a used Remington 1100 Tac 4

I have one of each of the Remington Tac4 with green fiberoptic front sight and a DMW Easyloader gate and a Benelli M1Super90 with mods. They are both excellent guns. When you put them side by side they look like twins. The Benelli feels better to me for some reason-different balance? The Benelli is easier to load weak hand-balance maybe? I like them both. I don't think there is compelling reason to choose either one except the Tac4 was Tactical ready out of the box new for 850. I clean my guns frequently. So buy what is available and get some trigger time.

I own several Remys, all skeet guns with great reliability. My 3gun Remy lasted two 1/2 seasons, we shoot them to hard. All the 3gun shooters that I shoot with, all have Benelli shotguns now (we started with Remington 1100).

An 1100 is a good first shotgun, but if you shoot much it will wear out and not be reliable and cost you places. Be cautious of used 3gun shotguns, shot hard and traded for more reliable S/Gs.

Love my skeet guns....but skeet is not that hard on them.
