AZGunut
Hi everyone, I run a indoor match at the Scottsdale Gun Club and we do a IDPA-type match on the first Wednesday and a USPSA Match on the third Wednesday. We usually average 20-30 shooters per match and probably 75% of those are members of the club (Always helps to make members feel as if they are getting more benefits as part of there membership) We also make the match fee's cheaper for members as well. We also do a introductors class for people who are new to competition shooting and always have a good group of eager new shooters, who are nervous to come to a match not knowing much but like paying a small amount to learn about the sport, rules, procedures, etc. Now we are always a busy range, but our owner understands that doing these matches helps the shooting community and makes the shooters happy even at the sake of profit.
