bellyrubber
I've been looking for replacement springs for my 19rd xdm mags. I've tried all the usual places. No luck. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

ummm
I saw that and like I said it has a square end with a dent on it and I can't use it. That's very strange. Just curious, why can't you use them? Because I have "both" kinds...the kind where the bottom square "coil" has that peak in it and the kind without, and both have worked perfectly for tens of thousands of rounds. Did you plug up the hole in the base pad? Rich and Canyon Creek sells the innards of the mags as a kit (spring, follower and base pad), and those springs didn't have the peak back when I bought them. I think they're also +10%, but it's been a coupla years.
bellyrubber
They have different baseplates. I didn't think of plugging up the notch in the base plate. Does it work? I've got 2 mags with the bulge and 7 without. It'll see if I can make the baseplates work. How did you plug them up? Brad
bellyrubber
I took them apart and your right they do work as long as you don't try to use the wrong base plate. The mags require different baseplates not the springs. Thanks, you know what they say"you learned something new everyday". Thanks again.

bellyrubber
Well ummm, my springs gave me fits again last night. So today I got a hold of springfield and they had replacements. They were cheaper than d.p.,s.p.,wolfe. None of them even had them anyway. So I ordered 5 and they're on the way.
