XxWoodsHunterxX
Whether sitting or standing, the best ergonomics for you should put the tabletop about 2-3" lower than your elbow when bent at 90 degress. I do a lot more than just reloading on my bench so being that low was a problem. I do have a work bench that is that low for my grinder and vises but when I built this bench it was so that I could work on my guns and such along with reloading while standing and not have to stoop over to work on bench. But I see what your saying. I think the next bench I'm going to build I'll take into consideration a strong mount. Warpdrv
This is how I made my bench..... then used 1.5" butcher block for the top. Stole the idea from here.... http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_6_42/319362_.html I added a couple support beams to the middle same as A & C in pics... Super happy with the results and that thing aint moving.... Cost was pretty reasonable...... Height was 36" Edited June 9, 2014 by Warpdrv
