56hawk Posted July 28, 2013 Author Share Posted July 28, 2013 Been doing some experimenting with 3N38 and N105. I need 11.5 grains of N105 or 10.3 grains of 3N38 to make major. My old load of SP2 was 10.8 grains. Putting the rounds back to back in the magazine I cannot tell any difference between N105 and 3N38. They are both noticeably softer shooting than SP2 though. I'm going to try to find more 3N38 for sale. N105 is a pain to load since it's compressed enough that I'm getting a lot of variation in seating depth.
