Brynjulv Posted October 8, 2012 Share Posted October 8, 2012 Is the PC gun 42 oz and 10,5 " oal? I 'm in the market for a backup for my 5" 625 - 8. Seems impossible to find a good used 5 " in Norway so I'll have too order a new one I lust for a lighter cylinder that hopfully will have longerlasting stopnotches. I want the heaviest gun I guess so is the S&W specsheet correct stating the JM too be lighter than the PC-gun? . Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
PJones1911 Posted October 19, 2012 Share Posted October 19, 2012 I had both the JM and the PC and recently sold the JM. The PC is slightly heavier and I believe to be a smoother operating gun. I did the Miculek trigger job using his spring kit and now have a 7lb trigger pull. I do have to use Federal primers to guarantee ignition of the primers. I sold the JM and purchased another PC as my backup. Buy the PC and put Miculek grips on it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
PJones1911 Posted October 19, 2012 Share Posted October 19, 2012 I forgot to mention that any S&W revolver shooter should consider buying Jerry Miculek's CD's teaching how to do a good trigger job, clean and maintain & shoot.
