Thinking about buying one for occassional bullseye, PPC and Stock Class NRA Action. I've heard they are accurate. Any magazines available other than stock? Thanks. Trader Posted January 30, 2004 Share Posted January 30, 2004 Mine shoots 2 1/2 at 50 yards with handloads from prone. Not as good with factory ball. It runs 100% with any ammo. Factory mags are the only avalable and are 9 rd. I have a 1st generation gun . I have my trigger set at 3lbs. The new gen guns have a firing pin safety(grip) and a manual thumb and magazine disconnect safety. On my 1st gen gun , the "safety lever" only blocks the firing pin (When down). Bullseye shooter. There's gotta be something out there, though, 'cause some IDPA shooters seem to be using this pistol, and they can't all be carrying "Mex". I'd bet that any open-ended Smith Model 39 holster would fit quite correctly, since their frame & slide cross-sections are almost identical.
