I have a STI trojan in 40, I use metal form mags with the spacre in the back and it will feed almost any factory ammo. I think the spacers make all the diff.
-
My trojan will NOT run with wilson mags, but will feed any ammo if I use a mag with a spacer. Including many hollow points and really likes american eagle 165 grn factory loads.
-
Filed my slide stop so it will not lock open from empty mag.

Before single stack, L-10 was the only place to shoot your single stack 1911.

Our rep told us it might be late MAY.

Here is one from our gun smith.

Pm Mike Cyrwus and have him stipple your glock and never think about grip tape or your hands slipping ever again.
-
Dont know about cost, but americian eagle 9mm has great accuracy and realy soft recoil.
-
I have had great luck with Ky-Tac products. Lots of the local shooters and team Glock use them.
-
You can use a light rail frame but the rail can only be 3.25 in from rear of slidestop pin to front of dust cover.
-
If you want to use grip tape, cut it into 3/8 in wide strips long enough to go from one side of grip to the other. Use 4 strips with a small gap between strips.

+ 1 for the JP mag button. I used it on a 35 for a long time.
-
There is a video on youtube of a master class liminted shooter doing a 1.11 on a steel ipsic target. Look up bill drill on youtube.
-
Go with the dawson F/O front and either a dawson fixed rear or a heinie fixed rear. I have both types on my guns and both work very well.
-
I used some duck bill pliers to bend in the feed lips on some 14-45 mags. It took a long time and you need to go slow, only bend a little at a time.
-
If you are used to shooting a 1911 look hard at the SW MP. It points very close to the same as a 1911 and the trigger is way easer for a 1911 shooter to switch back and forth with.

I have shot the Kimber SSII in 40 cal, thought it shot very well and was a little cheaper than the STI, also a very nice gun. Go with 40 cal because 8 rnds of 40 in the 9 rnd mags most of them come with will be easier to load into the gun than a toped off 8 rnd 45 mag.

Dawson ICE
in Glock
I have used both Dawson ice and the SJC. Do not rember mod to frame to get the Dawson to fit. I think both are great mag wells but my vote goes to the SJC. I really like the way it pushes your grip up high, and reloads are very fast and easy to hit.

I think the 34 has less muzzel flip than the 17, also if you have a 35 the 34 will feel and point about the same. I like minor 40 but the WWB 9 shoots about the same out of a 34 as minor 40 out of a 35.
-
I think it was the JP mag well I used for IDPA ESP, it fits the box and you can use stock mags without a base pad and they will be easy to seat in the gun for all types of reloads.
-
the jp mag funnel will fit in the box. it is not as big as most but fits the box and gives slight funnel benefits.

Where is the best place to buy or order a CR speed belt?
-
Go with KY-TAC it is the best made kydex. super fast draw, top quality. I use the same holster for lim & prod. Also makes the best IWB for consealed carry.
-
kY-tac makes the best kydex gear I use it for everything matches and great IWB for consealed carry.
