    I do not care for the SRT. Didn't like the feel of it on my open Beretta. I used an adjustable steel trigger given to me years ago by one of my first instructors, did some EDM cuts for cooling and coolness, and away we go. I do have medium to large hands. 

    Does anyone recognize this compensator?

    The "BB" in the box is the date code, which is 1992. The other symbol is a proof mark, but I cant make it out. The comp looks like a version of the Beretta SGS comp w/o the side tangs. But the gun was made in Italy in either Gardone or Brescia. The 9x21 is also one of my favorite calibers.

    A few guys asked about major. I built this gun for 9 minor only.........if it was a steel frame like a Billie, I might consider.

    I do have a Heitt red buff in it.......but I will stick with minor.

    This pistol has a KKM National Match Hooded barrel, and the locking block fit nice and tight, not like a factory Beretta where they are somewhat looser. The locking block is a factory one. If and when the locking block wears out, I'll just replace it with a new one plated in NP3 Plus.

    Actually, the slide is so tight on the frame, I cant use my slide glide lite on the rails, pushes it back out.

    Hey Chills1994, the frame is Cerakote H (heat cured) color Ridgeway Blue. This finish is brutally tough. I had them double the hardner in the mixture, and that gives the finish a satin look, as apposed to a flat look.

    The stippling in the front and backstraps has no specified name, I had it done locally in Connecticut by a master gunsmith who works on and builds LEO/SWAT weapons. He takes forever but he is good.

    Slide is polished stainless. Lotta hours into that mirror finish. No bigstick yet Ronnie........I shot it before I had the frame Ceracoated Roy, it was sick bro!

    Spooky smooth transition from DA to SA on 1st shot, I honestly cannot feel per se the transition. I spent a LOT of attention on having certain internal parts NP3 Plus plated and mirror polished. the sear I left alone, just a competition cut on it. Just gotts get to the range with the video camera.........thanks for the compliments guys!!

    I remember last year a rep from USPSA approached Beretta USA about trying to get some of there handguns approved but were given the run around. Has anyone this year at shot did the same? I mean I really would like to shoot my 92A1

    Good question. I just emailed one of my contacts at BUSA. See what happens.

    Do you know the approximate thickness of the NP3 "Plus"?

    Not off hand, but I can find out if you like. The new NP3 Plus does plate thicker overall as opposed to the standard NP3. I'm a fan of NP3, and the NP3 Plus is awsome, especially for internal parts. Robar would not plate the sear however, but thats no problem. Every single moving part is hand polished, its scary smooth.....virtually no difference from the first double action shot transitioning to the singe action.
