Being superstitious is bad luck.
I'll disagree with you on this. Being superstitious attimes does not mean bad luck, being superstitious means GETTING TO KNOW YOURSELF AND WHAT WORKS FOR YOU

This subject is about terms of the shooting sport. May be it is easy for you, american native speakers, but often for me, terms seems to be misunderstood, partially or completely.
So, please forgive my dummy questions and just enlighten me !
My first question is about "cold range". I see the term in some documentation. I understood it as the guns must be unloaded in the defined area. Is this correct ? And if we can also name the safety area, how would you call the place where we have to shoot ? Thnd btw, i e hot range ?
Sarge answered you correctly. And btw i don't think there's dummy questions. Literally, asking question is one of the fastest way to learn. So no dummy question..

I agree, if you know what correct looks and feels like.
If you don't, then it's a waste of time.
I agree with you on this

Check sear to hammer engagement. Simplest way to do this would be disassemble and use a sharpie and mark the hammer and sear. Dry fire a few times and see how the wear pattern looks.

It’s weird. Shoot your plan. It may be different it may be the same but not everyone has the same strengths.

Just finished the book called Attainment by Troy Basham. Quick read and well worth it.
A friend once referred the book to me. I guess it worth reading, I'll check it out.

Hi fellow competitive shooters,
When I just started my IPSC journey, I was eagerly looking for content on practical shooting techniques on the Internet.
I learned a lot from books (amongst others the Brian Enos book) and IPSC/USPSA shooters on Youtube, Vimeo, etc., but still sat on my hunger.
Several years on, I want return to the practical shooters community, especially the beginners.
For those who are interested, check out my "How To"-playlist on my Youtube-channel for IPSC techniques and training: shoot on the moven drop step, table starts, turns, and much more ...

hi does anyone know if the shadow 2 magwell is compatible with the tactical sport orange? I have access to a S2 magwell and I’m wondering if it can be fit easily?
Thanks
It's not compatible.

I've been coached in training classes to attempt to maintain a crush grip with my support hand and only a moderate "loose" grip with the strong hand. Loose grip keeps the trigger finger from tensing up and improves trigger control, splits, etc. Firm support hand helps the gun track better.
I buy all that. I think it's true.
However, my hands don't listen. If I crush with my support side, the strong hand wants to crush as well. Unless I REALLY, REALLY consciously work to achieve the proper tension, both hands crush. I can usually manage it while dryfiring but I know at match speeds, all that goes out the window.
Can the desired grip tension be achieved through practice? Thus far, I've had no no real, consistent results. It's difficult to separate the two hands' functions for me.
Sure, it can be acheived through practice

Just buy the bungee cord and ball sold at bsps and adapt it to whatever holster you use now.
I second this.
