  1. I had a hip replacement surgery fall 2020.  The first two weeks were extremely limiting.  The good news is that the pain in the joint was gone immediately.  I would be very careful doing anything beyond what the doctor and therapist tells you.  Eight weeks sounds optimistic.  It took about a year before I felt like I had fully recovered.

The problem now is that I need my other hip replaced.

  2. My 646 has a titanium cylinder. I've noticed the fired cases stick in the cylinder requiring quite a bit of force to eject. My question is, what can you do to stop the sticking? If you can't overcome this, then what is the advantage besides weight reduction?

  3. After reading all the posts here, I am totally baffled. I guess I should just stick with my old reliable Bullseye.

Either Hodgdon's Clays, or, as was mentioned, Vit 320, is way cleaner, and softer recoiling, than Bullseys.

    be

Softer recoiling? How can that be, slower burn rate? And what rounds are you loading with it?

  4. I am so sorry to hear of this. While all of us paid tribute to those that died on 9-11 yesterday, it was hard to remember there were still our friends and neighbors fighting and dying. Godspeed to our fallen soldiers. May you rest in His kingdom forever. May our Country win this war soon. May those that attacked us be given their painful reward.

  5. I am an old school revolver shooter that started in the 70s. I carried revolvers for many years when that's all they would let us have.

Since I started shooting a wheelgun in local matches, I have found; I am enjoying it immensely and other shooters look at me like I have grown an extra eyeball. I really can't see going back to an auto since it is so much freaking fun.

I am not really looking for blinding speed but wasn't expecting to be so far separated from what I expect shooting an auto.

  6. 1) I'm not a speed demon and have only dabbled with IDPA and IPSC.

    2) Recently, I started shooting these matches with my old 686 but am the only one shooting a wheelie.

    Q) How much slower is a revolver than an auto? My accuracy is fine but I seem to be almost twice as slow as the auto shooters. Most of my shooting has been in PPC. I'm actually fairly fast at reloading.
