  1. CR Speed. Been using one with my Glock 35 for a few months now. Works really REALLY well. The finger flip lock keeps the trigger guard locked securely until you're ready to shoot.

Ya I have a CR speed for my 8 shoot revolver and it dosent look like the ones that they are selling now. It had a click wheel in the back for locking it but it sucked. It looks like they have made there holsters much better.

Now the only problem with them that I can see is that they are used only for one type of gun and then you have to get a new one if you change brands ever and they are 200 dollars. I think there are very nice holsters for much less. I'm thinking ghost or hogue.

  2. I got a survey from S&W last week. One of the questions was if I'd be interested in a 5" version in .45 acp.

I would like to see a 5" .40 s&w. Has anyone started puting out parts for it. I have looked alot for triger jobs and don't see any yet. I would like to see this gun do well. I have a soft spot for s&w. I started shooting with an 8 shoot smith revolver.

  3. Ok so has anyone had the Hogue Powerspeed Universal Speed Holster

fail. I race slot cars and have a car that uses Neo mags. and if the holster is using the same type of mags. that gun is going no were untill I move it. I would think it would also use biger mags. than in my cars. I just realy like the Idea of being able to put many types of guns in it.

  4. Ghost or CR Speed. That's it.

How dose the ghost work to hold the gun in. I don't like the CR Speed holsters. I had a CR with my revolver and had my gun knocked out many times by my father after a good run. He would come up and give me a pat on the back and hit the gun right out. I want a holster that will lock up after a run and when I'm walking around or playing with my son trying to keep him busy so hes not bored.

  5. I use lead bullets exclusively because they are $39/k for .40s which gives me a lot more shooting for the money. It seems like most people at matches are shooting jacketed bullets. I've tried plated and found no real advantage. It seems like the lead bullets are accurate enough and feed perfectly fine. Is the smoke an issue for some of you or what? It doesn't seem too bad at all with WST powder. Should I just buy a thousand jacketed bullets and see what I've been missing? If I would go the jacketed route I would definately need to limit my practice and make the most of it. I also tried Masterblasters and still seemed to get a little smoke, so I wasn't overly excited about them.

I used to shoot lead but I hate the smoke. I'm now shooting the Precision Bullets. They cost less than jacketed. I have also herd of some people getting high lead counts from just the smoke.
