Although last week there was not rain I bailed, thus no shooting. Today, rained out again!
There's 5 working days during which I don't mind if it rains freakin' pipe wrenches!! WHY ON SATURDAY? I can see the honey-do list growing in her mind...

It's 55 minutes to Gainesville then 90 to St. A's and after looking at the radar, my wet head I had to bag it. But I did call and wake up my lil'sis in Jax for an on site weather report at 0530. It went something like this "Yes it's !!***%%##@@ raining A-HOLE !!!!!!" click.

Looked at the radar at 0530.....showed rain over the range. Have to drive 2.75 hours. Walked out at 0615 only to get soaked bewteen the truck and the door%%#$@@@@ and it's gettin colder.........what a bummer!

Sorry you had such a crappie night Jim. I am still very new to this sport , but I take my hat off to all that RO matches. I have ROed ranges in the Big Green Machine and wished I was in combat ( at least then I could shoot the people pointing guns at me). So yeah scarry, but you did great with the pull over and teach afterward.
I plan to take the RO class in Feb, I need all the schooling I can get!

I don't understand why he could not be buried at Arlington. I doubt very much if the guards would allow any desecration of his grave-site. In fact they would probably shoot someone for even thinking about trying it.
Or am I missing something here ???
Agreed!! They guards in Arlington carry M-14's, it's a great weapon to shoot scumbags with!!

ZZZzzzz.....opps fell asleep. Yeah ..ahh..camies, well I where some old Tiger stripes I have from time to time. Just the pants, with a T. But it's hot here in Florida. As far some person showing up ready to deploy.....good luck. He/she would taken out by the heat down here, as in they better have a water buffalo on their LBE (sorry no MOLLE when I was in). I think some common sense would go a long way, "Hey dude can you really shoot good dressed like that?". I know all that "stuff" didn't help me.

VBS - What bullet weight and powder?
Chuck Iam totally open here. Have been thinking the weight would be 180's , but like I said open on both. The M&P 40 is going to be shared between my friend and his GF. Both are new shooters, he's doing great with WWB 165's which are a little much for her at this point. She does much better 150PF loads I had. So again open to suggestion

Hi all,
Want some advice on loading some minor ammo for a friend. He has a M&P 40 that he wants to shoot in Production. Since it's scored minor see no reason to hammer him with the major PF loads that I run in my XD Tact. So bring it on!

Great rant and dude I feel your pain. My beef is we are all family when it comes down to it. These folks need us as much as we need them. Tell them to get their sh!t together before both of you don't have a place to shoot.

Been shooting the 22/45 (mk2) since it came out. Have trained many friends with it. Just don't see how you could wrong with this product. Good luck!

Dude you made my heart stop! Back in my 5.56 and 7.62 shooting days I got.......well I got a LOT of rifle powder. Sure don't want that 3am friendly tap on the door followed by "I'am from the Goverment and I'am here to help".

This was at my last match.
The only time stacking is a bad idea is when they are all in a single row. If you have 1 popper behind 3 that is OK, also if you have them in a diamond or six set up in a tree shape that is also fine because you dont have to hammer down 1 to get to the next. As long as there are other poppers in the immediate are for you to shoot at while the one in front is falling then it makes the stage ok.
IMO... My .02 etc.. blah blah blah....In a perfect world maybe. Is a green inexperienced shooter going to shoot as you would do it? Is he going to think like the experienced shooter? Is anyone going to give a shit about safety or just blast at will. Running a hot range or sweeping with a gun muzzle is fine as long as everyone does as they are supposed too but we have rules for our - and others - protection which prevent us from doing dangerous things. Shooting steel is dangerous in perfect conditions ( how many who shoot a lot can't say they have not been hit by splatter) without leaving things that Murphy can get us with.
Ahh.....I m a green inexperienced shooter. That was my forth match. And well I did ok on that stage, I was shooting Major PF. Just can really see where stacking poppers could be a problem. In Florida it's harder and harder to find places to shoot, don't want to give any ammo to the anti gun folks. I know we have all heard it before on many fronts, safety first, know your back stop, know whats behind and in this case beyond your target. Please understand I am full on lovin this sport, that being said, if we can make it more safe (read harder for "those" folks to point a finger at us). Why not do it? Just MHO.

Yeah TP is still rockin. Grew up with his tunes and still love it. Just another great product from Florida via Gainesville.
