Is there an official announcement of Limited Optics and its division requirements anywhere? I can’t find it on the USPSA website and I haven’t seen anything in the emails from USPSA (and I’m not reading all 56 pages of this thread again to look for it).
Starts 5/1/2023.

From Law and Order, not a direct quote but, "The casing comes from a Glock 9MM..."

That last sentence is the biggest factor for me. I don’t really want to drop close to 4k on a gun that I could end up not shooting in competition.
Threshold of entry cost will vary from person to person. You can always just wait to see how popular the division is. Good luck.

I'd vote for Staccato P or a used XL to be under the OP's price requirement.

After reading all these post and several other related post, I've come to the conclusion, There will never be a perfect division.
Exactly, insert Serenity Prayer. LOL

I was told that Nemesis was built with .40 in mind and Artemis 9MM. Just more choices.
My Athena will be on sale soon

Bizarre how discussion over equipment rules always turns into personal attacks. Lol

Anybody else is getting a feeling that this is turning into another leadership failure, with another demonstration of board's inability to understand what accountability and transparency mean to the membership?
Potentially, yes. I have enough politics at work, don't need it in my personal life.

Good luck to you, as long as we're moving and banging caps it's all good.
Exactly. I switched to dots in 2021. So used to it now. Do what you enjoy.

Saw this in the last PCSL match. It was a bonus clay target, that had to be engaged. If missed, the shooter received 4 NPMs. If hit, the shooter received an additional 20 points. It was something like that.

Based on the OP's original post, I vote Atlas. I have an Athena and am about to start testing a Staccato XL. I will make my mind up after I get some work done to the XL.

Enough people have been circulating the rumors so I'm pretty sure they're going to be putting the 47 out to the public. Having been issued the 47 I can say it's a great platform. The ability to make a 45, or 19x or whatever from a full size is a fun/practical option. I only have a few thousand rounds through the 47 but it handles like every 17 I've ever shot and is compatible with all the same holsters.
Thanks for sharing. Cant wait to shoot. Dont know if I'll get one, we'll see.

Personally, I use a complete trigger from https://tacticaltriggers.com and prefer those over my Timney's.
I, too, prefer the Tactical Triggers for carry, but have several Skimmer Triggers as well. I am not too concerned about weight, I am more concerned with smoothness and reliability.

What failed exactly? Fail to feed or something with the magazine extension?
Failed to feed and followers on three followers got stuck in a low position. I cleaned the mags and the same thing happened again on two of the mags, FTF and low position.

Atlas Athena purchased for this division. I am going to give it a try.

I'm hoping they SFs dont go away as well. I don't know how long I will compete in CO though.

I can't answer your first 2 questions but I can tell you that their mounting system is pretty awesome. I ordered a TRS Commander with the IOS option and can't say anything bad about it.
Agreed. I prefer NHC IOS as well. I haven't tested their return to zero by removing the plate yet. Has anyone tested that?

Don't buy the whole kit then. Just buy a few tips to start out with. Each one is like 6 - 8 bucks a piece and a soldering iron of enough power is like $20.
Some of my DIY work with what came with the soldering iron an a couple of OT Defense tips. I like aggressive grips.
Good looking work.

Thanks. I was over 25K on my original SF and approaching 4K rounds on my current. *Knocks on wood*

I am running an Artemis in LO. I've been running it in Open in preparation for LO. Runs like a dream. I've owned two other Athenas, shot a Nemesis, Titan, and GT5. I landed on Artemis and very happy with that decision.
As far as multiple uses, yes on home defense and range toy as well.
Good luck in your decision.
