KC was shooting a Limcat with Taurus engraved on the side. That's what makes it a Taurus open gun lol

I have no experience with that company, but if you're looking for really light recoil springs Ben Stoeger Pro Shop carries the CZ Ultimate Eric Graffel springs. Those go down to 8lbs I beleve.

Could you find the Facebook post on this again? I'd like to message the guy and ask if he is willing to make another one.Now that the weight limit for CO is raised to 59 ounces, what mods are there to bring the M&P (24 oz) in line with the weights of something like the p320 x5 legion (43.5 oz)?
I see Carver's tungsten guide rod at 2.5 oz, and Taylor freelance brass base pads at 5 oz - anything else?
Also saw on Facebook someone talking about making a metal backstrap adding 7 oz - not sure that's legal?

This guy's got it. I currently shoot a shadow 2 mostly for the weight and how low the optic sits. I dont like the sigs because of how tall the slides are. The OZ9 has been really intriguing me lately, and I've been wondering if zev would legally go after a shop for making they're own metal grip for the OZ9 frame. The X5 Legion seems to be the new go-to option for most people because of 1. The weight and 2. Not being DA/SA (consistent trigger pull every time). With aftermarket triggers, people have got them down to 2 pound trigger pulls, and they also have pretty good ergonomics (very 1911/2011-ish).
The downside? Sigs have large slides and high bore axis. They have a bit more muzzle flip than other striker fired designs like the CZ P10 platform or Glock-based platforms. However, the extra weight probably helps counteract that a bit.
I'd like to start seeing heavier tungsten-infused frames, like the Legion has, become available for CZ P10s and Glocks. If Zev was smarter and/or cared more about the competition market, they'd make a full steel grip for their OZ9 platform. They already copied the 2011 design with the separate grip and receiver. The platform is ripe for a heavy steel grip now. Someone just needs to machine one.

The RMR is proven to be the most durable pistol dot out there for now.

If your really wanting to add weight you could always try this. I follow this guy on IG and he made his own "legion " grip because he liked how it distributed the weight more.

All of them have their pros and cons. I have shot the x5 legion and own a gen 5 34, but never held a p10. Personally I dont like how high the optic sits on the sigs because of how tall the slides are. A thing to consider is building a gen 3 with the zev oz9 frame to add weight to the glock.

Does the trigger shoe have a set screw in it? Mine had this problem and it was because the set screw to adjust pre travel backed out and wouldnt let the double action reset.

A+ Brass is in this forum under the BE Vendors tab. He sells 9mm sorted specifically for 9 majer with the preferred headstamps and no stepped cases mixed in.

1.135 seems like a very short OAL for 9 major. What powder and gun setup are you using?i been shooting 9mm Major since they allowed it in USPSA. Im using the same LEE 9mm dies that came with my press. Now I have a Mark7 and i have consistant OAL. I like 1.135 with a + or - of .003 I use range brass, and RMR 124 JHP bullets.

You could try a lighter recoil spring to let the slide cycle faster. Try 10 or 11lbs and see how those feel

How much variation is all over the place? Mine seem to hold pretty consistent within a couple thousandths. How did you get consistent OAL with the Dillon Seating Die? Mine are all over the place with 9mm.

I just got my first open gun and I'm going to set up a dedicated 9 major tool head for my 750. I've been using the standard dillon carbide dies for 9 minor, should I stick with those or are there better options?

Any guesses on the MSRP?

Has anyone heard if they are making them to handle 9mm major?

CZC sent an email to everyone who ordered one saying you have to have the reduced reach disconnector for it to function correctly.Ok ... gotta have this. I have the full CGW kit on my S2 without reach reduction. Am I good to go or do I need another part(s)?

Finally finished getting it in and miraculously found that dang spring. Pics of DA and SA positions and a little video of function. Keep in mind this is with the CGW Pro kit. The outward curve of the shoe face is a different feel, some might like it and some might not. I do like the way it feels though, so now it's time for some dry fire and hopefully a live fire practice session at the end of the week.http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/5e39e5af0d969/20200204_164223.mp4

Well the instal was going great until I let the trigger spring fly into another dimension when taking it out. [emoji24][emoji24][emoji24]

Mine came in today. Hopefully I'll find the time to put it in and get some pics and video of function. One thing I did notice is the actual face of the shoe isnt flat but slightly rounded.

I went and found it on CZC's site. It's just the shoe and it's only $40, so I'm very tempted to grab one and try it out.

This is my first time seeing this and I'm super interested as well. I prefer flat triggers but need the DA for carry optics.
