Thanks gents.
I like the 85 combat trigger on my CZs. Do you think the double action trigger from Patriot Defense would work?

Edit: In fact, the rail is a Glock style rail and the light snaps on with the Glock rail insert
Question for those who own this pistol: What kind of light can you mount to it?
I have an Olight Pl-mini 2 valkyrie with the 1913 insert and it does not fit as the rail channel is too narrow. It looks like its a Weaver rail, does this seem right?

This advice worked for me and the SD distances (~25 yds) I need.I’m going to grab one from sportsman’s guide. The weight might make the holster feel off but the only other good 10mm option I can find is a Glock and I absolutely hate my Glock 21[emoji2961][emoji1787].
I will check that fiber optic sight out. Is there a specific one that works well I have read that they shoot low? I’m only an hour from patriot defense so they will be my go to as I like to support local ish businesses
Hunting might be different.I used the Dawson .165 x .090 front sight but I had to raised the rear all the way up to get it to zero. I think the .140 would work better.

It's been said that a Tanfo in 10mm is the closest production gun to the Bren Ten. That would be cool if it fit, though I don't know how the massive weight plays with the adjustment.Maybe my Miami Vice holster will work then. I’m hoping I love this gun. I love my beretta so I have high hopes for this. Has EAA customer service improved or is it still a nightmare?
Thankfully I've never had to use EAA. I bought mine from Bud's and would use their warranty. If you buy from Gallery of Guns you'd get the Davidson warranty.
Be careful of the mods as they might void the warranty.
One other thing, I replaced the black front sight with a Dawson Precision fiber optic sight purchased from Patriot Defense- great outfit.

I've had nothing but good experiences with mine and am at the point where I trust my setup. I polished the rail but not the internals yet. YMMV.I’m planning to pick one up next month mostly to carry hog hunting. It’ll be my 1st CZ pattern handgun and 1st 10mm. I will order the guide rod and 20# spring. I don’t mean to high Jack but is there anything I should know about them and what are some good holster optionsWith regards to holsters there doesn't seem to be a lot of specific options that I know of but I found this holster I had laying around for my Government 1911 worked great for my Witness Pro Steel:

They come stiff but you can work in some mink oil or neatsfoot oil and it'll soften a bit.

Glad the grips are working out for you too. I'm contemplating getting the whole thing cerakoted or NP3 coated niw.The Gray/Black Bogies fit PERFECT and it really helped my smaller hands grip the pistol perfectly. I agree PogoJack these are really nice grips completely changed the gun. Think I will be selling a CZ97B or it will wind up a safe queen I have another Shield .45 I carry. As soon as the slide gets back from J&L we are going pig poking.
What loads are you using for the hogs? I have been carrying this one on my semi-monthly Texas trips and hogs are a concern.

So there's no torque specs yet for the LOK grips but 5 in/lbs with blue Loc-tite seemed to be plenty.
Question about the rail. It seems not to be a 1913 rail. What is it?

Just got and installed the LOK thin bogie grips. They are incredible!! They make my gun feel like my CZs and they look great. Wow! There is a lottle gap where the web of the thumb would go, but it works.
I've asked LOK how many foot pounds I should apply to the screws. I'm a bit OCD about it.

Ordered the exact same grips will be here the 23rd I will report back.
Please do! I'm getting mine on a few days as well and will report in.
So are these grips thicker than the wooden ones? I've heard great things about LOK from CZ75 owners, I'm really excited about getting them now! Please let us know how they fit! Did you get the Aequitas/Veritas inscription?I ordered today the palm swell bogies in solid black.Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

I got the thin G10 bogies in black with gray liners. Hoping that large/long is the right size for this pistol. What did you get?Nice! What grips did you go for?

I have a witness with the rounded trigger guard and I haven't found a specific holster for it yet, however the Versacarry Protector S2, which was in my junk holster drawer worked surprisingly well for IWB carry of my Witness Pro Steel (Stock 1 slide, Witness Steel frame) in 10mm for the couple weeks I was travelling.

Anyone know how one can disable the safety on this pistol?
Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk -
You are right. Good catch! If I am correct those grips won't fit the witness pro. They are for large frame pistols with square trigger guards. Totally different grips.

Another option for grips: Patriot Defense is taking pre-orders for aluminum grips.

Glad to see it's getting worked out.
I had a couple of FTF with the PPU I used. I heard that's a thing with Tanfos. In my case, the rounds were nose down, butt up in the feed ramp.
I keep asking LOK about availability of large frame long witness grips,
They said no ETA but they do plan to add them.
Henning has some available in non-black right now.

How goes it? Did you get it smoothed out?
Installed the Dawson sights, they look great. Thanks for the recommendation. I'll see if I can't get it zeroed at the next range trip. Thinking about 25 yards zero for HD/SD/Woods since 10mm trajectory tends to be flat. What say y'all?

Nice seeing you ringing that steel! Hope it wears down to niceness for you. Have you let the cerakote guy know? After fighting with it for 30 min I got it to rack but it wasn't going into battery. More fighting and it got a bit better so I went out back to my range and fired a few rounds. Is running better but the magazine still hard to get out of the pistol.
Here is a quick videos

Oh, man so sorry to hear that it's not working out. I have seen good results on Glocks but don't know much about the current finish.
I. too, hope it works out after a few rounds downrange!

Thank you for the information! I've ordered the .140T X .090W (019-451) sight from Patriot Defense. Hopefully this one works and I'll report ther findings here.I used the Dawson .165 x .090 front sight but I had to raised the rear all the way up to get it to zero. I think the .140 would work better.

That's a proof mark. On some of my Tanfoglios it is a little bit more legible and easier to see that it matches the proof mark on the barrel.
Thank you! It does indeed match a similar mark on the barrel. Mystery solved. Huzzah!

My gun will be ready for pick up on Tuesday. Can't wait to see the results of the cerakote!
That's awesome! If you can, please post pics when completed.
Question about the Dawson front sights, which ones did you use?
Put 140 rounds through mine today. I had 4 FTF with PPU PPH10F FPJ 10mm with the flat nose. 40 rounds of gummy tip 10mm Critical Duty by Hornady 175 gr went through without a hitch. It was shooting low at 20 yards but groups were tight!
Shot it with a Hennings brass shock buffer washer in . It has a couple of notches cut out from today's exertions. Not sure if the FTF might have been caused by it. Hennings says the shock buffer can make the gun less reliable.
Great shooter. Just need it for Bears, Mountain Lions and miscreants when hiking and it definitely fits the bill nicely for its intended purpose.
LOK says they will be possibly doing Large Frame, Long grip Witness bogie grips in G10 this month. Let's hope they do, and let them know you would like this.
Cheers and blessings to all.

The guy in the video mentioned with the 180gr it was shooting low and in Spartacus post it looks low as well. Did you find any diff between the 180 and 170gr?I fired 5 boxes of PPU 170 grains and had no issues. I also fired 2 boxes of PPU 180 grains HP and ran flawless too. Now with the Underwood 165 grains Gold dot HP you feel the difference [emoji38]
I can't wait to have it back from cerakote. It is taking to long [emoji34]

I see it! He seems to have had a FTF with PPU 180 gr. I have some PPU 170 gr. I'll let y'all know how that works out. I got the Hennings guide rod and 20# spring and extra power firing pin spring in it right now. I'll try to carry and see if I get rust too.I have seen it and commented my experience on mine!Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
