  1. Havent shot my load through a chrono, but im loading the same charge with 115gr extreme bullets as well.Great accuracy for me. If your happy with it i would keep on with it.

  2. I normally sit down and decap my brass before throwing them in the wet tumbler. Are drying they get a good look over and get ready for priming. Usually do my priming on the couch or sitting out back. Then I load them up and put them away.

I didn't know this plate existed!  I've got a XDM45 Competition that I really want a RDS on.  I have a spare Vortex laying around.

Sounds like this forum cost me money....again!

Min thinking the same thing....time to make a purchase.

  4. When I run plated I buy from RMR, but the last 15k rounds or so I have used brazos. Great price on some good bullets. Have a bunch I ordered from summers enterprises and only have great things to say about them as well.

How is the accuracy? Most targets are bay targets but occasionally they put a plate rack out at 75yards.

This is the one thing that has held me up. Just not sure what it would be like compared to what I have. Think I’m going to try it though.

I recently bought the ULW and shot it at one match. It definitely has to be “tuned” for a lack of better words on my end. Dot moved too much for me. I wish Taccom would offer porting service for the shroud. Every bit helps I guess.
With that said I’m experimenting with an MBX Ultralight right now. My goal is to run factory ammo.

Thanks for the input. That was something I was concerned about.  I’ve looked at the MBX barrels but they are a little more than I want to spend right now.

  7. I’ve finally decided to replace my short throated barrel on my NFA upper. I use this gun for USPSA and steel challenge. Looking at the offerings from taccom. I guess my pick would be between the 16” ULW and the 10/16 barrel they have. Has anyone went with the ULW and regretted it? The only thing I don’t like on the 10/16 barrel is how far the handgaurd will be cut back.

    Thanks.

  8. Really been thinking about getting the walker silencer bt earbuds, but just wondering how long the battery would hold up before it quits taking a good charge. Lot of money to spend if they didn’t last well. I’ve had a few earbuds for running and work and seems like most of them quit taking a charge 14 months in or so.

But right now i use the walker razor and I sometimes have issue with the   cheek weld

The shorter the stroke, the flatter the gun shoots. It will hit your shoulder harder, but the dot won’t move as much.

It’s rare to find a really well setup PCC where the gun can be locked back. Most of them are destroked too much for the bolt to come back far enough.

Interesting, thanks. I’m not to worried about lrbho, was just going to fix it right since it had it. But looks like I have a little more testing to do.

  10. So I just got into shooting a pcc in matches not long just for fun. I bought a complete NFA lower and upper. Been very happy with it so far and no issues. As I was researching and going through topics here and elsewhere I knew some things to look out for. I asked the people at NFA about the weight of the buffer and spring, and was told the right one will come with it.

Now I haven’t had any issues but I did notice the bolt comes a good ways back past the bolt catch. Looks like I need a spacer to decrease the travel. My question is does adding a spacer change the feel of the gun? By that I mean recoil or more of a bounce to it?  I like how it feels currently but in reading it makes me concerned about potentially breaking the bolt catch at some point. Just wondering what your experiences have been.

    Thanks.
