I don't know the twist, but both my plain x5 and legion x5 are noticable more accurate with 124g bullets compared to 147g and 150g (syntech). all factory ammo.
for me at 15 yards the difference is either a ragged hole with all the bullet holes touching, or with the heavier bullets you see the grouping open up and more of the holes not touching.

exactly. apple and Samsung have been doing it for years.
I guess that is a something then. 2 oz of weight and a few oz of trigger pull doesn't seem like much for 15-20%. If I already had a X5 or Legion I wouldn't be rushing out to buy one.
But, Sig is pretty genius to slowly release upgraded versions of the same gun like this. Lots of people in the shooting world need to have the latest and greatest and will rush out to buy the new hotness.

there's a similar thread on sigtalk regarding whether safety is compromised with the keres trigger

it's not mentioned in the video but if you scroll the comments he talks about the keres.I didn't see the Keres trigger mentioned in the above video.
I did see in his previous video how he liked the Keres trigger.

just recently got my legion slide back from sig after they replaced the barrel for one without the LCI. I cleaned it and took it to the range to sight in and noticed my groupings were noticeable worse with 150g syntech compared to 124g syntech. anyone else have a similar experience?
this was just some basic offhand shooting at about 10yds. with 124s the gun was making one tiny hole. with 150s grouping was noticeably larger.

FYI... the keres will actually add to the trigger pull weight on a legion due to the geometry they use on their trigger. I installed one and noticed it felt heavier. I don't have a tool to measure exact but it's been a common finding for people using the keres.Just checked Keres website. Ships in 4-6 weeks? Really glad I went with the GG. It will be here Friday. I don't really need a super low pull weight and I don't own a gauge. But I just want a better feel, if its lighter that's a plus. I will post here after install. If I'm not impressed I'm going to lie to convince myself I don't need to wait to a month for the keres.

I called today and the rep said I'd need to send in the complete firearm.

I just put the keres in my new legion (all other trigger parts stock) and notice trigger feels slightly heavier. I don't have a trigger gauge but comparing back and forth it feels ever so slightly heavier. much crisper with nearly all the pre and over travel gone tho. overall a fan and would take the extra (or perceived extra) weight with a crisper trigger than lighter stock trigger pull.Keres trigger adds 1 more lbs to the pull. It does shorten the pre and over travel.

is anyone using these for USPSA production? this summer was my first season shooting USPSA. I shoot an x5 with 10rn mags. after a few matchs and practices of dropping mags onto the gravel and ground, the plastic base plates are starting to get beat up. I liked the look of the grayguns extended base pads, as well as the recessed dot numbering system.
any feedback on these? I'm assuming these are good to go for production division?
