  1. I have three guns running either with Slide Glide, Frog Lube and or Fireclean. I like them all and could use any one of them. Since I have a bit off all three, I will use them on the different guns until they run out. Then knowing me, buy the same and keep going. I also completely clean my guns after every other time to the range. <500 rounds. :)

  2. I believe we are saying the same thing. With the slide off the frame, the trigger is to the rear. Push or pull the trigger forward in the frame, and then try sliding the slide on.

  3. What ammo are you running and what recoil spring? The only time I've had jams like that is when I run really weak ammo.

13lb ISMI and 135pf 9mm. That particular Glock is the only one I have had a problem with and only recently started using it in USPSA.

  4. I look forward to trying this extractor. I have started using my RTF Glock 17 in matches and had my first problems including a couple FTF/FTE (during a major match) that I have never experianced in the past. These were stovepipe type stoppages, almost like a double feed with the empty case more horizontal than a typical stovepipe. It was interesting to read you had similar problems with the same gun. I have never had any problems with my other Glocks, including a Gen4 Glock 19. Any information on availability? Thanks, John

  5. I would switch asap, if you can afford it. I had a 550 for a few years and had the money for a 1050 after selling a couple guns. I hate going back to the 550 for the anything, but I don't have all the caliber conversions I need so I have to use it. For me I can't even compare the production increase because for me it's not even close. The 1050 is the best. I have loaded about 10,000+ rounds on it so far and have not had any issues. From reading some threads here, I guess I will have a couple eventually but so far so good.

  6. Received my sight today. Looked it over closely and it looks very nice.

I do not plan on mounting it just yet as I have the state IDPA match this weekend and I do not have time to adjust a new sight before the weekend

and I just don' think it would be smart to change anything major this close to a big match.

I will put it on next week.

One thing I noticed is that the sight does not want to adjust up more than a few clicks. I think it may just

feel like that because it is not mounted to the slide yet but it does seem like it is stuck.

Anyone else experience this feeling before mounting the sight?

When I received mine it was the same way. I believe they ship adjusted almost all the way up. I had to bring mine down quite a bit.

  7. I have the holster also. I contacted bladetech and showed them pictures of the measurements. I then told them what I needed and they remade me another holster so that it fit the production rules. I recommend contacting them, I didn't want to alter it and have it look bad, I am very happy with the new holster.
