I'm Sharon Roche from Columbus, Oho. I have been shooting for about three years after the age of 50! I had shot before that, but only very sparingly and mostly .22 rifles. I have always loved guns (even the toy ones I had as a kid!). I compete mostly in GSSF Indoor matches and at least three or four outdoor matches a year. You could say I'm in love with GLOCKS! Have have been high female at Indy and twice at Lexington and have placed at a few GSSF Indoor matches. I shoot in a Bullseye league at my range, New Albany Shooting Range. I have shot in steel matches and love shooting bowling pins. I also love to hunt and fish. My goal is to be the first woman to hit a 500 in the GSSF Indoor Matches (I don't think a woman has done that) and to try IDPA or some type of practical shooting. I like reading this forum and hear from other female shooters. I do believe my motto of, "Happiness is a warm Glock!"

I use a G17 for GSSF indoors and outdoors and it is pretty accurate. I had a G34, which I liked, but I did better with my G17. Actually, my G26 is accurate also, and I just love the "baby." Yes, I like the 9mm for accuracy.

Congrats, Julie. I admit I was a bit surprised in reading about your new job at S & W, but I'm sure it will go fine for you. Yes, I have S & Ws to go with my Glocks and I have tried the new M&P9 (nice gun). I even have a KEL-TEC P3AT to throw in my collection. I think shooting a revolver would be a challenge since I've never competed with one. I've shot them, just not in competition. I'm sure you're up for any challenge that comes your way. Keep up the good work!
