  1. I have had 2 sig P320s with damaged ejectors now.  One "regular" and one Legion.  Per the Sig rep, they will bend it back once under warranty.  If the FCU needs to be replaced, they will charge $199 for a new serialized FCU for something that seems to be a design flaw.  Unfortunately, Sig is unlikely to admit the issue unless there is a significant hit to their market, like the drop test.  Even then, I don't think they ever admitted a design flaw.  They just did the free upgrade.  They are suggesting it is because of over-enthusiastic magazine changes.

On another note, did you know that a 2 inch group within 10 yards is considered acceptable accuracy for the "match grade" X5?

Not really. The whole +5 baseplate is 1.6 oz, and you're already swapping out an aluminum one, the incremental weight will be less than an ounce.

Yup.  I weighed with the included mag and the 21 rd mag with a TTI extension and there was almost no difference

I may have missed the boat, but are their any of the current X5's still floating around out there at a big discount with the new Legion version coming?  Some quick searching online didn't really return much.

Bass proshop had them for $699 a week ago.  I got one at that price

I emailed and GGI confirmed their current competition trigger will work with the X5 Legion.

Perfect!  I emailed them but did not get a response yet.  Thanks

  5. I have a couple new X5s.  One is very accurate.  It was tight from the beginning and had to go through the typical break in period with the whole pretension issue.  Took at least 500 rounds before it was reliable.  It is very accurate.

The other felt loose from the beginning.  It had no problem feeding even light loads with 100-100 pf ammo from day 1.  No problems with pretension.   However. I noticed after about a month that there was a big difference in accuracy.  The tight one was doing about 2 inch groups freestanding at 15-20 yards consistently.   The one that was initially loose is probably doing 4-6 inches at the same distances with the same ammo.  I called Sig and the rep told me over the phone that I COULD send it in to them but if it will do 2 inches at 30 feet (FEET!!!), then it would be considered within spec and they would charge me for shipping, ammo and range time.  WTF!  For a match grade barrel?  My Wilsons come with 1/2" at 25 YARD guarantees and even my apex M&P is far more accurate.  I was shocked and very disappointed.

Has anyone had or heard of something like this?  I am not sure what to do at this point....
