The entry deadline for the Area 5 match is officially past; however, we still have slots available on Friday & Saturday (or Thurs with the staff if requested). Sunday is FULL. If you are interested in shooting the match, we are still accepting applications. Please indicate the day you want to shoot the match on the application.

Greetings,
I just wanted to send out a reminder that this is the last week to sign up for the WI Section, April 21 & 22. We would like to have entries post marked by March 15th for planning purposes (shirts, awards, etc).
Since this match is one week before the Single Stack Nationals, this might be a perfect chance to warm up for it .
Hope to see you there
Thanks

Sorry guys, looks like Ben changed his mind, he sent in as Revo on his application, but later switched to Production.

Here's what I use, it can be removed and reapplied. It's a self-cling style vinyl type material. It comes in two sizes, I prefer the larger.

Hi All,
I'm handling registration for the WI Section so I wanted to remind everyone that it's coming up fast and there are only about 30 days left to sign up for the match.
Since this match is one week before the Single Stack Nationals, this might be a perfect chance to warm up for it
Hope to see you there,

I can't think of a better way to use my vacation but.. due to some prior commitments, the camp in April just won't work out for me.
However, I just read the post about a November Ladies Camp in Arizona that's around the time of Area 2. This I will definitely keep in mind. Now, that could be a great vacation!!!
I would really like to meet all of you too. Well, who knows, maybe we'll cross paths somewhere this summer at a match.
Take Care,
Lori

Thanks everyone
Trisha - Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to Ladies Camp this year. It sounds like it would be a great experience. Maybe next year!!

Thanks guys!
ABlackburn,
I'm glad to hear your wife is interested in shooting. I started shooting a few years ago with my husband and we are having the time of our lives. There is rarely a weekend when I would rather be doing something else.
I am also new to this forum. I joined when hearing about the new Ladies Forum. This would be a great place for your wife to get insight from other women shooters.
I'd have to say I've had some great instruction. We've had the opportunity to have Matt Burkett come to our range in Wisconsin twice for training. He is a great instructor and inspiration to shooters. Matt's videos are a great place to start.
Most importantly, I think competing and practicing with my husband has been the most help. We are able to help and motivate each other.
I've just found out about the Ladies Camp instructed by some of the sport's top women shooters. Your wife certainly couldn't go wrong there. A friend of mine plans to take the class in April. Here's a link with some information if you are interested. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=30081
Hope this is of some help.
Best of luck,
Lori

Just wanted to say hello,
A friend brought this ladies forum to my attention, I think it's great.
My husband and I were introduced to IDPA back in 2002 while taking an NRA basic pistol course. After visiting a local IDPA club we were hooked and became very involved in the sport. Since then, we've also become involved in 3-Gun and USPSA. Just last spring we started a USPSA and 3-Gun club at our local range, the Holmen Rod & Gun Club, Holmen, WI. It's been a blast!!! It's great to be able to share the love of these shooting sports with my husband.
We're pleased that our club has been selected to host the WI Section and Area 5 match for the 2006 season. I will be handling the registration so I look forward to possibly meeting some of you there.
See you on the range,
Lori Casper

I see this as receiving medical attention, not special treatment. I'm sure this would have been done for any competitor showing signs of heat stoke. I've seen this happen before, regardless of preparation; some people seem more susceptible.
